Brito's Burrito — Restaurant in Saint Louis Park

I dont know what happened to this place, I used to work nearby and eat here at least once a week. We made a pickup order for ourselves and a friend and were so excited to come after not being here for a while.

2 of our bowls didnt have the correct rice, all 3 did not come with the fajita veggies, they gave us 3 salsa verdes when we asked for one of each type salsa, they were all missing corn salsa, and the worst thing is we got extra meat and none of them came with extra meat, and the meat we got was sparing, like you could barely find it. Almost all of the portions were extremely lacking. Where before they would fill the container, I took one look at the three meals we got and immediately knew it looked bad, they were barely half full and 80 percent rice.

We literally had to cook up some meat and cut up some tomatoes, cilantro, etc etc and put them in our meals before we started eating so we would have enough food that wasnt just the wrong type of rice.

I dont know what happened to this place but we probably wont be back, its a shame because this place was special to us before and we were really excited to show our friend what we thought Britos was. 53 dollars for 3 meals down the drain.

Paid my first visit to Brito's and I will be back again and again! Truly amazing tasting, wonderful Mexican food. Takeout order consisted of a chicken burrito and a steak bowl. The size of the burrito really surprised me as I thought that Chipotle burritos were big, but this is easily 10% larger. One could easily cut in half and share it. I can't say enough about the ingredients in both entrees. Savory grilled meat, freshly cut veggies, brown rice and black beans that taste better than Chipotle's and a burrito that seemed just a slightly bit thicker. The bowl comes in a very handy and quite sturdy plastic container with a snap-on lid to hold anything remaining for a meal later on....much nicer than having a carboard container and foil lid. A well thought out move. Very friendly staff members, genuinely happy to serve and it shows. The place is spotless inside, both behind the counter work area and out where customer seating is. Pricing is very comparable with Chipotle and I'm quite happy to have another local, small business owned restaurant that I can support regularly now, instead of giving my business to another large...

Went in today for first time. Had high hopes, due to amazing review. There was a good size line when I first enter. First saw the size of the tortilla. It was probably 1.5 to 2x bigger then chipotle tortilla. I was thinking to myself OMG that's going to be a Big Burrito. Once I saw them load the burrito. It's only 1 scope of rice, beans etc..... When they roll the burrito. They had no trouble rolling it. Unlike chipotle (if it's a good portion chipotle) alot of time if u get most of whats included in the burrito they will have trouble rolling the burrito. When it was my turn to order. I order burrito with steak (cost additional $1) total price with tax under $10. My take of the place. Good friendly service. Price is affordable, it's a big burrito but is it due to the tortilla being 1.5 to 2x bigger then chipotle tortilla !?! The burrito was bland. Didn't have to much of flavor. Had high hopes for this place with 4.9/5 over several hundreds review....
