If you're reading this, than you're most likely wondering about THIS particular location of Jimmy John's. (The next piece is about reviews, in general, for ALL companies' customers to use as a rule of thumb!)
Obviously, the company and the food/ remain the same across all locations. You can contact the company, itself, about any gripes and concerns. Do that/if that. Google reviews are 99% about your customer service experience!
Now, back to THIS location of JJ's: Briefly. Dri, a Manager there, was great! She was remarkably and not snarkily understanding! She listened to me when I explained what was wrong with my order, and HEARD me.
She immediately apologized and came up with a satisfying solution and was very polite about it. This was during a busy evening when Grand Avenue is bustling with those just home from work.
She OWNED the mistake and used it as a training moment for the employees (of which I later found out were in training that day); More importantly, she DID NOT blame them by throwing them under a bus! "A training moment" Fantastic! That's a great BOSS move (pun intended)!
Thank you, Dri and the entire staff (veterans/rookies) at THIS location!! Keep up the Freaky Fast and Freaky Great...
Read moreI work for a clinic that is interconnected to other clinics around DT St. Paul. We order JJ's for events/luncheons on average, 3 times monthly. We order personally every week with some staff averaging 3 times a week.
After speaking with the manager, I realized every order would be hell. I tried to explain that we'd always order the same thing so she should write it down and have it ready because we had special instructions on the food and the drop off (we're a suite and located in a building that is connected to another building with the same suite number). This, apparently, was too hard.
Like when I ordered cokes and instead of sending cans, they sent fountain drinks. Common sense isn't so common. And I'm not saying that doctors are better than the average person, I'm just saying they are definitely more persnickety.
When I order $120 worth of food, plus an additional tip, I EXPECT you to be perfect on it. Especially after I give explicit instructions.
We still use them because, hey, they're tasty. I just have to deal with things all the time that are a waste of...
Read moreI obviously can't give 0 stars....
tonight I ordered a sandwich and found a PUBIC HAIR in it! I called the store and the MANAGER continued to argue with me that there was NO possible way ANY hair could've gotten in my sandwich.
It was on the INSIDE, I couldn't blame something falling off my clothes or some other random contamination.
I've worked in hospitality and am adamant about hand washing, any hair length below the chin must be secured, swap gloves frequently.....etc...to say there was ZERO possibility of hair getting into food is false. That happens, and those in charge of our food should do their best to prevent it, that's all anyone can do.
I am grossed out and pissed off. Mad because he continued to insist the hair WOULD be CURLY. Not everyone's pubic hair is curly! Mad bc he adamantly denied it even existed....! I will be giving my "pubic hair sandwich" to the...
