Great food but dishonest owners! Food was tasty, but brutal working conditions. Looks like the owners went for cheap labor, so hired students working part time who were obviously not very efficient. Also wanted to cut costs. Three people attending 20 tables packed with atleast 50 people and taking care of takeouts. Water was served in to-go cups (since they couldn’t afford someone to clean?). There was no one to clear plates from the table. Owner who was running the kitchen was rude, does not know how to run a restaurant and does not respect her own employees. Gives wrong information about how long the wait is, and the waiters take the brunt from the customers about the food wait and also the lack of a/c and all other complaints. Went on a jam packed Saturday, most seats were full and waiting for food. Ordered one dish immediately after sitting for my toddler. Took 35 mins. Rest of our order took a while (30-45mins) to arrive. We wanted to order something more after our first order, we asked how much time it will take, and was told 10-15 mins, so we ordered. 40 mins later it was still not there. Since kids were getting fussy (we were already at the restaurant for 1.5hours by then) we decided to cancel the pending order and leave. We informed the folks attending to our table and planned to leave. A few moments later the food made its way out and I explained we can’t as it is too late for us, they took it back. This lady came out from the kitchen and started yelling at the girls who were attending to us. As I was paying the bill, one of girls quit on the spot, which made us feel bad. When we asked her, she mentioned that the owner wanted to cut the cost of the pending very delayed order from her paycheck. We offered to talk to the owner, but the girl said she will speak sweetly with you and accept and then anyways cut from the paycheck. So it doesn’t matter.
Now, at that spot I decided to never go again here. Good food is fine, but I am not paying money to greedy owners of this place again. I still feel bad about canceling the order, I wouldn’t have if kids had cooperated a little better. I do wish the people working there find a better...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering from this restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life. My initial order included two veg bhakri pizzas, and they cost literally 9$ each excluding taxes, and the outcome was nothing short of a culinary disaster.
Firstly, the so-called "6-inch" pizzas were a mere illusion, as they arrived resembling miniature frisbees rather than satisfying meals. The toppings were scarce, consisting of a thin layer of pizza sauce, a few bell peppers, and a modest sprinkling of grated cheese. To add insult to injury, the crust was as hard as cardboard, making each bite a struggle.
In a surprising turn of events, my party decided to order three more pizzas, unknowingly subjecting ourselves to further disappointment. As we waited for the next batch, we sampled the initial pizzas, only to be met with an overwhelming sense of regret. The flavor was bland, and the texture left much to be desired.
Desperate for a remedy to our unfortunate meal, we approached the manager with a polite request to swap our new pizza order for something else. However, instead of addressing our concerns with empathy, the manager displayed a shocking level of rudeness and insisted that the pizzas were intentionally prepared in this manner.
Undeterred, we then requested a refund, hoping to salvage some semblance of satisfaction from this ordeal. To our dismay, even this modest request was met with a resounding refusal. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of customer service, where the establishment not only fails to deliver on taste but also refuses to rectify their mistakes.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against subjecting yourself to the culinary misadventures of this restaurant. From tasteless pizzas to an indifferent manager, this place embodies the epitome of a dining nightmare. Save your taste buds and your wallet by exploring other dining options that value customer satisfaction...
Read moreVisited on a weekday with family friends. And it was packed as expected. We got a table for 8, but decided to take out the food as the AC had broken down, and it was very warm inside (difficult with kids) I placed the order at 8.10pm. The cashier/manager said 30mints. We obliged as there were lot of customers. I waited patiently and asked at 8.45pm, the cashier said it should be out soon. 9pm check - cashier said they are working on MY order. 9.15pm check - everyone seems clueless. The cashier now decides not to take more orders. (Which I feel should have been done at 8.15pm). The head waitress who has been marathoning in & out asked me what had I ordered, as it looked like they had lost my receipt as well. 9.25pm check - I saw a group cancel their order (who also have been waiting for that long), and I decided to do the same. I asked the head waitress who was handling the cashier now to cancel my order. The other co-owner/manager (not sure who), tells her bluntly yea it’s ok cancel it. 👎🏻 9.30pm - The head waitress requests me to wait for 2 mints, and she brings out my order. She asked me to check if it has all items, but I was out of patience to do that. The head waitress was kind and apologized for the fiasco. all 6-7 items were present as bought. Kattapa Sandwich was ok, pav bhaaji was good. Veg Pulao was very good.
Concluding: If you are planning to go in near future, consider at least couple of hours buffer. Understand that they opened very recently, but operations right now is a chaos. This happened to me while it wasn’t even that over crowded. Food is good. But personally the value of time and service matters for me equally. 👎🏻 which I hope will improve over time. Environment is good. (Provided the AC is up running again). Without which it’s impossible to wait that long inside.
To improve - communicate correct wait time! You can’t expect customer to wait 90mints telling a 30mints wait. Sadly for me, (This) Honest is ❌...
