I plan to stop by when life gets a little less crazy but my wife and I really want to make sure that the lady at this Treats Unleashed knows she has not been forgotten about. -- Mother's day weekend we stopped in to pick up something for our girl, Sable. We suddenly learned that she has some pretty aggressive cancer and we thought we had years left to enjoy her and the reality is we probably only have a few weeks. I used to work in shelter med and she was a rescue that spent the first 3 years of her life on concrete as a breeding mom. We have been so blessed to give her a new life and to watch the joy she spreads with her goofy personality and....two braincells. LOL Okay--moving on, point of the review--

I went in to Treats Unleashed to grab some cookies, I didnt have time to order a cake as our photographer was coming down for an emergency rainbow bridge session for us because we truly do not know how long we have left with her. There was a cake sitting on the table with nothing on it! I was so shocked and snatched it up and happily ran to the counter. The lady said that she couldnt believe they still had one because typically they sell 1st thing in the morning (first sign from the universe). She asked if I wanted her to write "Happy Birthday" on it. I got misty eyed but kept it together and explained what it was for and asked if she could just write "Sable" on it in pink and purple. She nodded and spent so much time writing her name and and drawing hearts and paw prints. We picked out another baggie of treats and I got out my wallet and she refused to let me pay. (also if corporate is reading this and she's gonna get in trouble for that I will walk my ass to the store and pay for it right now LOL) I finally lost my ability to keep it together and openly sobbed at the counter. It had been the week from hell. Money has been so tight and our hearts have been breaking all week. She came around the counter and asked if I was a hugger--to which my wife said "Oh she IS" lol and she hugged me so tight just like I needed and told me I was a good dog mom and to give my baby pets from her.

Let me reiterate, I do not know this lady. I have been in this store once. There was a couple people around us getting choked up too. She showed us this unbelievable kindness at a time when we are finding it hard to get out of bed. I kick myself that I have to write this not knowing her name but my mind has been running non stop for weeks and if she told it to me or if it was on her name tag, I cant remember. BUT hopefully she sees this or is there when I go back in.

What you do matters. Being kind matters. PEOPLE matter. And in times when it feels like the world is on FIRE in the worst way, its little things that inspire people to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Thank you, The Brinkleys (Katryn,...

I adore Treats Unleashed for the wonderful treats, food etc. However, I took my King Charles Cavalier in for a grooming, first time there but not first time having her groomed. I was told when I inquired a couple of months before they had 1 groomer and she was familiar with Cavi's. Fast forward to Thursday. I drop her off speak with groomer, she told me it would take about an hour. Should have been my first red flag. It normally takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. She had a big knot in her ear which I thought may have to be cut out. Explained I understood if that were needed. Also explained I wanted a hygeine cut and her paw pads trimmed NOTHING ELSE. I came back to pick her up - an hour later- and her ears had been SHAVED! I was sick to my stomach and furious. I hardly recognized her when she came out. I chose not to say anything at the time because I was so angry and there were other customers in the store. However, I did respond through text when they reached out about my experience. I will never go back for a grooming. COULD NOT BE MORE UNHAPPY WITH A GROOMER. Also, the part that was suppose to be shaved- her rear end. NOT. I did reach out before posting the review. The manager did not offer an apology or I’m sorry for your experience. What I received was”I will try to get back with you today or tomorrow.” The groomer even shaved the inside of her ears. I don’t want a refund as that will not change anything. It will be months before her long ears grow back. I’m not sure Araya should ever hold another pair of scissors or razor in her hands. I have added before and...

My dog Gizmo was groomed by Amber and she is wonderful!!! A new Treats Unleashed location opened up closer to home but I will continue to drive slightly further away because Amber is the first groomer my dog has taken to. He has never been a fan of grooming and I warned Amber in the beginning that he might be ornery. We had tried two other groomers outside of Treats Unleashed so I was worried. She has been so patient and kind with him that I feel very comfortable when I drop him off. Everyone in the store welcomes Gizmo as soon as we walk in and he loves the smell of all the fresh baked goodies. Gizmo has been groomed by Amber for almost a year now. She always manages to get a clean cut (no scraps or nicks), even around his face which he hates to have trimmed. I highly recommend Treats Unleashed. Not only is their grooming exceptional, but I buy dog food, toys, and treats regularly. Every employee I have come in contact with has a smile on their face and is friendly in their interactions, not only with my dog but also with me. Even over the phone they are incredibly sweet. My dog is so important to me and they have all proven he is important to...

I ordered a cake over a week ago for my fur baby’s birthday. As it was approaching we were going to get a lot of snow on her birthday so I called to see if they could have the cake ready the day before and they said no problem. When I went to pick it up they hadn’t gotten to it yet, but the employee said I’ll grab one from the freezer and it’ll be ready in about 15 minutes. No problem I’m sure they’ve been busy with the holidays and other orders. As I was waiting she did come to update me that the number is just drying and asked what kind of treats my dog likes. They gave me a free bag of treats since they “dropped the ball on this.” Super nice and completely unexpected. I was just fine having the cake done in so little time. The cake looked great and dogs love the cake and the treats. We’re all super appreciative of you guys and your hard work! Thank you so much!
