I have been going to this theatre for many years and have never had any issues. Last night I went to go see "Smile 2" with my sister (I am 23 years old and my sister is 16) I have been taking her to theatres for many years and have never had any issues bringing her into "R" rated movies so I purchased the tickets online. When we arrived they requested an ID from my sister and I and wouldn't let us in. When I attempted to see another film instead the ticket dispenser the printer would not work and we were let in. While walking to the theatre we were tailed and confronted by an extremely rude employee with red hair that accused me of trespassing and escorted me to the front. The entire staff was extremely rude. Molly who was working at the front ticket desk in particular seemed to get some sort of enjoyment at the situation as she was laughing at the whole situation. I will never go to a Marcus theatre ever again and will do my best to make sure nobody else I know will attend one of their theater...
Read moreIf it could be negative one star it would. They are so anal about ID’s it’s actually insane. God forbid a girl wants to see a rated r movie. They genuinely run this place like it’s the navy for nooooo reason. Some of the employees are chill but most of the managers are not. I get trying keep kids out of the movie but bro…I have a tattoo up and down my entire right arm and they are over here concerned on whether or not I have an ID to see a movie. Please. As they were badgering me about my ID I saw a GROWN MAN, bearded and tattooed get turned away for not having an ID. At some point I need yall to use your discretion over who is clearly and clearly not 17. Incredibly embarrassing system. And as the Karens say, “I will not be back.” Also the manager who turned us away seemed to find it funny the absolute inconvenience he was causing me, he laughed while my group struggled to figure out what we would do. All of my group besides one (clearly old enough and tattooed) had their IDs. Very...

I asked the teenage employee for a fork. I got a long blank look and response was “I don’t think we have those I’ll ask my manager. It’s a restaurant!!!! Turns out they have forks. My husband and I went to auditorium 7 because their showing board said that’s where our movie was. After 45 minutes, some man came and said we were in his seat. However, we asked beforehand and the manager said seating was first come first serve. The man came back with the SAME manager who tells us that we were in the wrong auditorium together!!!!!! We went where their sign said!!!!!! Lastly I ordered a strawberry margarita. The SAME manager made it. Took forever bc she had to look up the ingredients. And to top that off, she put a ton of salt in the rim!!!! We left, didn’t see the movie, and...
