The Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Saint Peters

Wanted to try them out since they opened in a previous favorite spot of mine, and I saw on their FB that they had $1 wings on Wednesday. So my friend and I went up to have some beers, wings & pizza. The waitress told us that we needed to order them in multiples of 6 to get the $1 special, so we went with a dozen. When she brought the wings, I thought something was off. There was only 10, which is their menu stated amount(price $15.45). She then brought our pizza, and I asked about the wings. She said she would adjust our bill accordingly, which should then be $10 ($1 each = $10). The pizza looked good, and the sauce & toppings were fine, but after the first piece, I realized they used pre-made crusts. For the price, I would have believed I was getting a freshly made pizza. These owners own First Capitol Grill, Parrots, and now Pizza Pub (which was DiRienzo's) and really none of their food is good. I wish they focused more on improving their food instead of opening more places. I have tried Pizza Pub a few times and it has been very inconsistent, apparently they are trying to figure out their pizza recipe. I don't understand why they didn't figure that out before they opened. The first pizza was good, the second a few weeks okay not great, this week was somehow even worse. Today the pizzas crust was hard as a rock, the toppings tasted odd too.
