I arrived last night to pick up a order as a delivery driver. I asked the customer has she been taking care of before I approach the counter to retrieve the delivery order as I did not want to step in front of her. The lady stated yes and thanks for asking if I have been help. As I waited for the order the same customer begin to talk to me as she waited for her order as well. The customer asked how I like being a delivery driver? I stated that I really like it and so on, she begin to tell me how she really likes their food and how the food is really good. I just smiled and did not agree nor disagree. I woke up this morning and remembered the conversation that the customer and I had on last night. I haven't eaten at this restaurant in years! I do not know if the food is still great but many years ago when I worked in the healthcare field my manager and I would order from this restaurant and I would give them very nice tips but when I became a delivery driver, I noticed that they did not recognize who I was and they treat you differently if you are not spending and giving them nice tips. (No emotions at all) As a delivery driver you view life and people differently because you able to step back and watch how people behave. I have ate a lot of Asians restaurants, several different Asians repair shops have repaired my vehicle and I have delivered to many Asians! They never tip and their order is always $2.00 but they always want me to tip as they are very good at looking at how you dress to view how you are and are very blunt in their words when asking for a tip. I always wonder why God will bless me out of the people in the world? Now, I know why as I have taken care of very high profile individuals and they chose me to care for them out of several caretakers and they all told me that I stood out because I don't care for others for the money, I care and love from the heart! If the customers became a delivery driver for just one day, you would never order from some of the restaurants as they would treat you poorly. You are just a dollar to...
Read moreThis place was a definite miss for me. I ordered delivery on a Friday evening during dinner time so it would (hopefully) be fresh. Sadly, nothing tasted like it was. I ordered vegetable chow mein which is described as having crispy noodles but it was just vegetables in a broth? No noodles at all? I also tried the general tsos chicken which was not spicy as described. It was just bland and dry - didn't even really have any sauce on it. I also tried the Mongolian beef. Again, not spicy as described. It tasted like they had used way too much flower on the beef and it gave it a weird texture. The fried rice was bland as well. I had to add a lot of soy sauce to give it any flavor. The egg roll was okay. Overall I would rate this between and 1-2 stars and won't be...
Read moreDo these reviewers think they ordered Nobu? This is a NEIGHBORHOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT, all of which are NOT created equal, and this China wok is EXCEPTIONAL. They are fast and consistent and the home made hot mustard, which costs a modest 50¢, will knock your socks off. Absolutely perfect ratio of flavor to pain, no notes. I am a die hard crab rangoon critic and they’re pretty good. Sauce is a little too liquid red-40 for my taste but the General Tso’s with noodles make up for any shortcoming. Is it spicy? Not really. Am I going to complain? No, because they give you about a bucket of it and again, if you’re not investing in the NECTAR that is homemade hot mustard, you’re doing this wrong and should have your review...
