Don't listen to anyone that gives this place 5 stars, paid shills. I, like many others, was excited when they opened a new location, this is my neighborhood Dunkin. I casually read a few reviews and couldn't believe other locations have lower ratings. This place is a trifecta of everything bad and make no mistake, when everything about it is terrible the problem is at the top - the owner/corporate NEEDS TO STEP IN - giving DD a bad name here. This is the worst Dunkin in the bay area. Either that or it needs to be torn down/scorched earth. They have no idea how to make coffee, let alone customize it - in fact today they didn't even know how to use the computer and take orders. I spent 20 min in line to order 2 things. I figured, fine maybe they are learning, gave them a chance there. It obviously gets worse. I could feel a 6th sense "don't let them charge you, take your card back and get out, don't take the food just leave" but I was hungry, go figure. I have been burned constantly at this Dunkin, ask for a sandwich without cheese, you will get cheese. If you want coffee, you will get a shot of it with your cup full of creamer - these people obviously don't drink coffee that make it here. I was okay with the constant abuse and just figured this was a 2 star establishment, I was wrong. Today I bit into the chicken sandwich I got after my agony waiting for it, and it was as hard as a rock while at the same time cold - cheese unmelted and one sad little piece of bacon. That was the straw for me, I didn't want to review this place cause I thought it could get better. The restrooms are broken, the front door hangs open, homeless people camp out in it, the "cleaup" person was milling around aimlessly slopping mop water everywhere doing NOTHING (why pay for her employ, charity?) the store is brand new but already has 5 years of grime caked on inside. It smells awful and when I came back for my refund I had to wait for another 20 minutes for the manager to decide to show back up. No one wanted to "handle" me and I sat there stewing and angry the whole time, so my apologies that my temper was a little short with the guy when he wouldn't even show his face or acknowledge that he returned and sent the mop girl to collect my card - and that was it, barely an apology as I walked out the door. That is the last time I ever spend one penny at this location. Piss poor attitude from the staff, incompetent management, veritably horrible quality of food, why come here? WHY? Read moreI’m giving it 4 stars even though the new staff deserve 5! I used to avoid this Dunkin at all costs. For the past two years the employees were rude, unprofessional, and honestly I was concerned some of them would do something to peoples food. But for some reason about 3 weeks ago I decided to go there and see what’s changed. The last two times I came here (both at night) I was served by someone who was literally the only one there. I always go to Dunkin’ for one thing and one thing only! The cappuccino blast! It’s my favorite drink on earth! Usually when I came here no one wanted to make it. The excuses for their unwillingness to make it ranged from “we don’t have the mix, we don’t have vanilla ice scream, et etc.” one day I walked in and saw the vanilla ice scream and asked why they lied and someone got confrontational with me. But Back to these last two experiences; Ashley worked one night and she was so pleasant! I hope she is still there considering it was only her first week and she was practically the only one there! And tonight Jeston served me my blast. He kept apologizing for the wait: I noticed he was the only one doing drive thru and the walk ins. That is so messed up, I noticed it, he never offered that information. He didn’t make one excuse! He served me and my daughter with a smile and it didn’t even take longer than normal. He was feeling guilty and overwhelmed and I honestly hope you (THE OWNERS) have compensated him for his exhausting work. He was so sweet! And the blast was delicious. Thank you to both of them. That’s all. That’s my review. I will be calling tomorrow to make sure they are both recognized for their exceptional customer service.
I know times are hard and there’s many people out here not wanting to work but the clientele is still there and the ones who are working deserve a raise and appreciation!!!! Read moreAbsolutely the worst most deplorable Dunkin Donuts I have ever been too. Yesterday I placed a mobile order and when I arrived their computers were down. The individual told me she couldn’t give me my coffee because their computers were down and to come back in 45 minutes to an hour. I had to go to work so I returned this morning and explained what happened. The clerk said rudely “I didn’t work yesterday and we don’t give away free food” I explained I paid for it and even showed him the receipt and said I didn’t receive it because their computers were down. I then asked to speak to the manager. He responded “she’s busy and she wasn’t working yesterday either”. Then he continued “she not gonna stop making food to talk to you because we busy and understaffed”
I can honestly say I have been to this Dunkin three times now and the staff is constantly among the rudest most unprofessional people I have ever met.
I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I left and went to the Dunkin on 4th St N and the treatment was like night and day. The staff there was kind courteous and respectful. The staff at this Dunkin needs to get some training from the staff at the 4th St., North location.
Without sounding like a Karen I actually am going to write the CEO for Dunkin because the experience was so frustrating and aggravating they need to know what the staff at the 4th St S location is doing to their reputation as a company because they simply just don’t care.
To have a manager look at me while I’m expressing concern to an employee and do absolutely nothing and not be willing to talk to me is unacceptable for a company that provides a service like this...
