E and L Pizza — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Great food! Workers are super nice!

But the place has such strict rules as to what they will do to address any problems that it's not worth going to any more. Sad I used to love this place. Food is still good. But I expect to get what I pay for.

Wish them the best but I've been disappointed too many times. To spend more money there.

By no means is my frustration coming from not having certain slices available at a time! If that's what it came across as I apologize because that was certainly not my intention. The frustration is that the simple action of just throwing a few pepperonis on a cheese slice and heating it up was not permissible. To my understanding that is a really simple compromise at any Pizzeria that serves by the slice. If anything it would have been a mutual compromise because pepperoni on a cheese slice is not the same as a slice of pepperoni and cheese but it's just a normal compromise.

But even beyond that particular situation there have been multiple times I've had an order especially a delivery order incorrect and resulted in a non satisfactory compromise. I love supporting mom and pop places and I understand that you have to do certain things to keep your doors open. So by no means am I suggesting that there's anything wrong with your product or your service cuz both have historically been wonderful, it is quite simply the policies I find...

We have eaten here off and in for awhile but never again! My wife ordered 2 14inch pizzas a pepperoni and a Supreme and ordered it through Slice, the Supreme was burnt and horrible so she called slice and they said contact the store. We did, they told us they could replace it since it was just 5 in the afternoon, and we said we can't because we were leaving so the restaurant serverbeth said it will be in our order history when we order again. That was 1 week ago and I called tonight to confirm it was available since we were ordering tomorrow and after 3 times in hold the girl that answered said since we're calling now a week later they can't do anything, I said I called the day of but she said she doesn't remember it, then said oh actually I wasn't working that day. I gave her the name of the girl Beth that placed the order and she was there now so on hold again. Now she tells me sorry contact slice for the problem because it's not their fault. Really? Are you completely ignorant? Didnthe delivery service burn the pizza in their pizza bag with the ac on in the car? And we were going to order 2 additional pizzas to go with it tomorrow. What a joke like a single pizza they sell forb18 bucks is so expensive to make they don't care about the customers, it cost them 4.89 to make the thing so I hope it's worth the thousands we would have kept spending over the years. Unbelievable, and I have the dam receipt in frontbof me. Act like I'm just trying tobget something free, they are ridiculous...

I placed an order with E&L Pizza after a long day because they have really great pizza and everyone knows this I've always had great experiences, well this particular day I fell asleep and didn't pick up pizza they called me I told them I forgot and apologized for not coming...Well I called to place another order,on another day she received my number she gave me my name and placed me on hold to return about 4min later to say I can't place an order with you for the no show,I was in misbelief .So I said OK I'll call the person picking up that order that happen to be riding a bike there that day that we couldn't order there and he happen to be walking in the lobby, so he said OK I'll just leave she said no you can order, my problem is she hung up the phone instead of saying you can come in and place an order just not over the phone. She made me feel my service was no longer welcome. In all honesty every restaurant around has experience this, and I don't think they ever refused a customer after only a one time mess up that was apologized for..So for that reason that is why they received this rating and I will never eat there again..It was embarrassing to my boyfriend by there customers inside and a very huge...
