Careful! There are many immitaters, but only ONE Dollar Tree. This is the store where EVERY item in the store is one dollar. As such, you get what you pay for, including service, so be warned, there IS NO SERVICE... This place gets five stars in context, they do what they are supposed to do perfectly... They provide so many different things, all for only a dollar! Cleaning supplies, household goods, food...eggs, lunch meat, frozen dinners, snacks, hygiene... deodorant, razors, even over the counter medication ONE DOLLAR. So if you're prepared to sacrifice service in order to get things you can't even imagine you could get for $1 and you like saving tons of money, this place is for you. You walk in with $10 you leave with ten items, you'd be a fool to buy certain things elsewhere when you can get it here for$1. Come look around, and if you can't find what you want just ask anyone even fellow shoppers, because they'll actually talk to you. This is the go-to store for people on a SERIOUS budget, so if you don't want to rub elbows with that segment of our community - go somewhere else. But if you know that the struggle is real, come on down and get five star....savings. That's all you'll find here. If you're a complainer, if you sometimes ask for the manager, shop somewhere else, this is a place for people who have to cut corners to make ends meet and who smile while doing it. You'll smile too when you see what items you can get for your dollar.....5 stars, two thumbs up, and cheers for the best kept...
Read moreI made an order through instacart to get supplies I needed for hurricane. I waited 5 hours and was charged extra for faster service but was disappointed 2 days in arow by not receiving my order. It took sopper( Casy ) 45 minutes to gather about 10 items. I was in contact with him on line during the order. There were things they did not have. He did not try to best replace items. After 45 minutes and he had only gathered a few of my items when he said order canceled he needed to go home. They were going to deliver this morning g but I have to work mornings. That's why I asked for it to be delivered in the afternoon because I work. Well I'm sure you know that after me changing it to 4 when I got home they extended the time again and closed before I recieved my supplies. Hurricane is here. Power flickering on and off. I have no water. No food that requires to refrigerator and other things that I needed. I contacted instacart who tried to get it delivered with no luck. But they did take my money and I have to wait 7 days for my refund. I used what little I had to get what I needed now I don't have necessities or money because there is a 7 day hold. I'm very disappointed in both of these businesses. I give them both a...
Read moreI’ve shopped at many Dollar Trees over the years and I usually don’t have any complaints- but this experience was different. I rarely do exchanges so I normally decline on taking the receipt. On top of that, I was told by a manager at another location that I don’t need a receipt since they can only do exchanges anyway as long as I present the items I’m exchanging upon entry. I forgot to present my items upon walking into this location and as I made my way past the cashier, she asked if I’m returning items. I answered yes, I’m exchanging and she rudely uttered “well you need to drop it off somewhere, you can’t be walking around with that bag.” So I asked her where I should leave my bag and she responded with an attitude “I don’t know, you just can’t have it with you.” Ummm ok. Long story short- I picked up the items I needed to exchange, went to the front only to have the manager come out and tell me I can’t exchange without a receipt. I walked out without any argument and went to another location off of 38th ave where they were more than nice and helpful. Staff needs an attitude adjustment- dollar store or not. This was evening...
