Jimmy's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I’ve been here several times in past but not in a few years. I’ve never really had an issue before but to sit patiently at a bar waiting to be acknowledged or served only for a “regular” or past employee to walk up to end of bar near where I’m sitting and the long hair red headed bartender walked straight over to him to get his drink order as of I didn’t stick out like a sore thumb as is is just rude! I politely said I’ve been sitting here 1st waiting, she replied she was “about to” ask me my order. Smh and of course the guy just joked & they laughed about it and sure enough both our drinks still came out same time. I saw at least 2-3 diff bartenders behind bar, not 1 of them spoke to me not even the one that made my drink. Unacceptable, unfriendly & definitely don’t feel welcomed. This is one very clean friendly, and conveniently located sports bar in central Pinellas county, Lealman, St. Petersburg ,34th street and 37th Avenue N. Prices are reasonable, the staff outgoing and friendly, lots of big screen televisions and some fantastic electronic games and pool tables. There is also a restaurant that is in the same building but separate from the bar so that you may have a good meal without feeling that you are in a bar. Unbelievable espresso martini. Who would have thought in a sports bar? Casey and Megan are pros- at making this drink and making you feel like you are special, just like this f’ing drink. Additionally, extremely clean location. I’m hooked! Casey you need to have your own shifts so I can sneak a glance at your body, and enjoy your excellent bartending skills.
