This McDonald's is nothing but very poor customer service, especially front counter staff who are rude and abrupt to customers. If you are crunched for time (such as having to get to work on time or on your lunch break), this McDonald's will more than likely make you wait for your order to the point that you end up being late for work or end up coming back late from lunch.
Moreover, I have ordered from this McDonald's several times via Uber Eats only to get either a missing or incorrect order on not one but several occasions. It seems like there is no quality control on the part of McDonald's especially when it comes to orders placed and picked up by Uber Eats, which has become a necessity rather than a convenience thanks to the recent COVID-19 crisis and the stay-at-home mandates that have followed.
After all, Caspers Company - the franchise owner of this and many other McDonald's restaurants in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area - needs to clean up their customer service act if they want to stay competitive. If Caspers Company does not want to clean up their act at McDonald's on 1661 4 St S in St. Petersburg, perhaps McDonald's corporate needs to sweep in and temporarily close the restaurant for intensive customer service retraining from the store manager on down.
My opinion: Stay away from this McDonald's restaurant! If I have a choice, I will go somewhere else before I go to...

The kiosk directs the customer to enter the table tent number and have a seat and someone will bring the order to you. I didn't do that because other locations do not bring it to your table. I waited at the counter and received my food. I sat down at a table near the door and I proceeded to check my phone and eat a few fries out of the bag. The maintenance man then came over to the table I was sitting at and spray table cleaner on the table and wipe it down. I was too in shock to respond how I would normally respond, so I just asked him would he like me to move. He said something along the lines of I didn't think it would matter because my food was still in the bag. That shouldn't matter though. If a guest is in the lobby, and you're cleaning it, you just need to skip that table. That's what I would have done. It doesn't matter that my food was still in the bag or not, you don't spray chemicals where someone is eating. I then just took my bag and moved to another table across from me, which was dirty. So I really didn't understand the logic of cleaning the table I was at versus cleaning the already dirty table which wasn't occupied at the time. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever. Place looked fully staffed but it was just complete chaos. Went through the drive through for a 6 piece happy meal, 2 mc double and a mc chicken. After waiting at the second window for 10 minutes i was told to pull around. Receipt read 1:45pm for my order. At 2:15pm I went inside to ask where my order is. People were just yelling at each other and then they basically threw the happy meal at me. When I asked for the rest of my order and showed my receipt, the lady took it and walked to the back of the kitchen. After another 5 minutes I decided to just walk out as my kid was waiting in the car screaming for those damn nuggets. Having worked at McDonald's myself while in high-school I know that having a costumer wait for 30+ minutes is absolutely unacceptable. When getting to the drive through there were only 2 cars ahead of me, the kitchen and drive through appeared fully staffed so there was absolutely no excuse. Attitude of the staff was terrible as well. I get that things can get busy but that was absolutely ridiculous.
