Listen this is a orginal gem. You can not find another Latin food joint like this no where in our area are any other area. I haven't seen no place that can beat there prices, food, service, friendliness, family atmosphere. I have never heard a complaint from nobody who ever visited this family, so I'm sorry for who drove all the way from Sarasota to get to this gem spot like this one and they were closed, I can remember if you wasn't there before it was all sold out on 13th ave N you was just "SOL". They close at a certain time, try leaving Sarasota a lil bit earlier to appreciate greatness, you want regret it. They give you more then you can think about eating at one time great family, great friends just good people to know, and grand kids learning the skill. I love this folks been a career customer never heard nothing negative. This is greatness at its best. Thanks family for all the years of great service. Oh yeah, my weddings was awesome, off the chain and a grat blessing. The food was off the chain they never expected a Latino meal at this wedding I got so many props on the catering service it was Ridiculous, so so cool. Thanks again Fam yall...

For the last three years, I have had good experiences until today. I purchased a salad and a sub for me and someone else, but then I was given two subs instead and was told that that was what I had ordered supposedly proven by that she repeated the order after I said it. Both subs were old and soggy, likely because these subs were originally someone else's order. The woman who runs this business who also happened to be the one behind the counter. She did not seem to like that I took a photo of her menu prices, which I had done just before ordering today. I hardly bothered to fight the order, because I wanted to come back without issue, but this was not worth going back to so it will likely be a long time before I come back if ever. We had formerly actively recommended this business, but no more. Previous review: You will not be able to eat one of their delicious subs - or even half, in one sitting. So much food! Best sandwich shop I've ever been to. Honestly, any large sandwich will feed two giant full grown men easily. The portions are massive, like the meat on a chef salad will outweigh a sandwich from anywhere else. A sandwich is almost comically huge. The house made roast pork is phenomenal, and their "everything" sauce is exactly that, amazing on everything. Protip: call ahead, this little place gets busy. Seriously though, it's worth it.

I've eaten here almost a dozen times, the only thing I don't suggest is the meatball sandwich. It was delicious, but even the menu says ”an obnoxious amount of meatballs." To the point where you NEED a plate, knife and fork. One quarter of my sandwich had 5 full meatballs. Absolutely delicious, but hard to eat lol.

This place is so far above any competition I cannot believe there only one location. Best sandwich shop...
