Westshore Pizza — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Ordered here a few times and it was great, except that they refused to honor the deal prices listed on their website - unethical but it was a few bucks so not a huge deal.

They cooked the extra crispy wings perfectly, but dropped the ball on my order tonight. 18 wings that were supposed to be extra crispy and extra wet, were neither, and the sauce was wrong. Called the store to get a credit for them, and the young lady at the front (who is WONDERFUL), spoke with the manager and said he offered $5 off my next order. I told her that wasn’t enough for 18 wings, and to please transfer me so she didn’t have to go back and forth. A man gets on the phone and I explain that usually the wings are perfect, but they weren’t tonight and I would like them replaced next time. He says $5 should just about cover it. I explain the 6 wings I ordered separately were $7.99 alone, and that’s not even counting the other 12 wings, so no, that doesn’t cover it. He said, “do you want the $5 or not?!” I replied, “wow!”, and he said, “I mean I’m trying to end the call and you keep going back and forth.” I asked his name and if he was the manager and he said his name is Sal and he’s the owner. I told him to keep his $5 and we won’t be back. So unbelievably unprofessional and nasty! And not business savvy, because he lost a frequent customer over some chicken wings. STAY AWAY FROM...

So I've ordered from different Westshore Pizzas around Pinellas county. Always been good. Tried this one for the first time tonight and was horribly disappointed. Google reviews weren't loading before I ordered or I might not have ordered. Pizza was supposed to arrive at 7:30. By 7:55 no pizza so I called. I said, "I ordered a pizza awhile ago and it's still not here". Guy says, "yeah you definitely did". Me, "okay..." Him, "well we were really busy then but it should be on its way". Like you don't know if it's left??? So I said, "so I should what? Wait 10 minutes and call back if it doesn't show up?" And he said, "yeah that sounds like a good idea". At this point I feel like I'm on Punk'd. My pizza shows up at 8:05. Poor delivery guy looks like he's had a night. He at least apologized even though I'm sure it wasn't his fault. Pizza was COLD, not lukewarm, actually cold and overcooked. Was literally awful. So I spent almost $40 on a cold, overcooked, gross, MEDIUM cheese pizza and a few garlic knots. That I won't be eating. I'd call & complain but I don't think my brain can handle another conversation like I had earlier. I work too hard for my money to throw it away. We have ordered several times from this location and always been more than satisfied. We’re in middle of moving and wanted a good order out meal. Very disappointed in the delivered meal. 12 very small chicken wings, antipasto salad had dressing in bottom of bag. Nothing left in the container for salad. Salad was 85% ice berg lettuce with small amounts of antipasto meat. Garlic knots were cold. Delivered before expected time which was a plus. Called 54th Ave S store to talk to manager. Got a snarky someone who answered phone. Manger to call me back. Only through my insistence a manger finally got on phone. Apologized but offered nothing for bad size of food other than he would bring us more dressing. Very poor customer service and care.
