Route 66 Taco & Wing Company — Restaurant in Saint Robert

I came in with my uncle. He ordered, then I ordered. They didn’t take his name or my name down for our to go order. They came up to us a few minutes later and asked if they could get a name for our orders. several minutes later they came out and called the name we gave them. We get back to my house and it turned out they only gave us the second order and none of his $31 order. As I went to call them my phone rang and they called and said I left they forgot to give us several items. They made no offer of compensation as well as no apology. I asked for a credit for the inconvenience and they said they would comp it and I said we would be back in 15 minutes to pick up the food. They then said they aren’t reimbursing us if we take the food. They offered a free desert. I said no and she put her manager on, “Amber”. Amber was rude and spoke over me, wouldn’t stop her monologue of what she incorrectly thought took place, blamed us for not waiting for the second order. I patiently let her speak. Then I got two words in before being interrupted. I asked her to let me speak, I got a few more words before she interrupted me again. I pointed out that I’ve allowed her to speak and now it’s my turn and she instead continued telling me how it is. Ultimately they agreed to comp my order but she was incredibly...

Honestly had high hopes for this place. Just moved here. Heard nothing but good things. Didn't feel like cooking so ordered delivery. Ordered a bit of everything. Traditional wings. Boneless wings. Pulled pork nachos with fries instead of chips. Basic burrito. Chips and queso. Crispy Chicken bacon avocado tacos. Ribeye bulgogi taco. Kinda on the pricey side but not why I give such low rating. I usually don't complain and didn't expect perfect food as it is being delivered. But 75$ and half my order wasn't made correctly and had to get a re order. The boneless wings are honestly a joke. If I wanted tiny soggy nuggets that you can't tell is chicken I'd get a bag of Tyson from Walmart. Same exact ones go on any chicken tacos apparently. Avacados were brown and slimy. The re order of pulled pork nachos had raw under cooked meat. Fries super soggy and squishy. Bulgogi taco was okay minus the brown coleslaw. The traditional wings honestly were a disappointment. Sauce wasn't bad but barely any. The chips for the queso were so greasy they were still all wet and enough salt to choke a hippo. First time eating here and waaayyy too pricey for the quality... just sharing my first experience here and may come back to try other...

Like many others, this restaurant/local hang-out was not what I was expecting. If you're looking for Mexican or Street tacos, there are better places. If you're looking for original concoctions, Asian/American-inspired or tacos with exotic meats, this is a unique restaurant! All in all, a good local business serving up a unique twist on street faire. Good service, moderately expensive, and arcade atmosphere. Delivery is available, though it's important to verify whether they deliver to your area!

When Covid wasn't a thing, taco Tuesday/trivia night is a pretty awesome way to earn free tacos!

Menu generally includes basic or premium tacos, a variety of burritos, and a couple of salads. The selection changes frequently depending on what's available, though the basics are usually always available.

With the positive, there are some draw backs. Like many of the nearby establishments, don't expect a fine dining atmosphere. Pizza joint type seating with open floor plan leaves you socializing with your neighbors!
