Franny Subs & Pasta — Restaurant in Salem

The best in town in my 13 years. Busy life I pick up there using the slice app about 2 +time a week. Pizza is the best but put extra cheese on it. All so far has been delicious, clean and fresh tasting. Some portions are small on some things seems like anything steak related you will find little to no meat, pizza is in need of more cheese but everything else is good sized or better than average size. Born in Revere and food spoiled form there and surrounding E Boston, Boston, Saugus etc nothing from a sub shop in southern NH has come as close as they have or at least in Salem to them. Unfortunately no north shore roast beef here. Tops Pizza is good NY style not a sweet sauce greasy like it should be and not that conveyor belt toaster oven style junk people make now a days. I was hoping to find a new place for lunch, but was disappointed in a couple things. First thing that threw me was charging for my salad dressing. Not an extra one.. just the one that you should get when you order a salad. I ordered a Cobb salad, but was missing the Pepperoncini and the Crispy Bacon. Also included olives (not listed) which one still had the pit and was a surprise when I bit into that. Overall I was happy with the food that I did get. It was fresh, but missed the bacon and didn't like having to pay for something that should be included. It is not listed anywhere that dressing it not included or a price even listed. My $11.95 Cobb Salad cost $13.57, so the cost of the dressing is $.50. I may give them a try again, but not...

I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo pasta dinner with Ziti. The kitchen was fast, and the staff was polite. The quality of sauce was excellent, the pasta was properly cooked, the broccoli was excellent, and the chicken, though well cooked, tasted a little old (not bad, but almost). Overall the food was great, and I am sure that with increased business, the freshness of the meat will not be a problem. My only issue with Franny's is that they are priced to target people visiting Canobie Lake Park. They are essentially pricing their take-out food in the same range as sit down restaurants just...
