Stopped by Jack in the Box this morning to try there breakfast. Are usually get McDonald’s for breakfast but I took a different route for work and it was a spur of the moment to try out for breakfast. I went to the drive-through and sat there and didn’t hear anything for about 20 seconds so then I begin asking can I order? Hello? Hello after doing that for a few minutes I pulled my phone out and googled Jack in the box just to make sure they were open. And sure enough they were open so I said hello a couple more times and then I pulled around front and went inside. At that time it was about 30 seconds and then I was Met at the counter with a lady that had broken English you can tell Spanish was her main language which is fine. I just don’t have her name so that’s the only thing I have to describe her besides the fact that she’s rude. Anyways I asked her if the drive-through was closed because I just went through there and sat there and nobody took my order. She then said no you have to talk to the speaker and then you pick it up at the window. So I explain to her how I sat there and I asked several times for someone to take my order. She then kind of giggled and shook her head and said no no you did not do that. So then at that point kind of shocked I said are you calling me a liar? She said no no you did not do that at all we would hear it. At that point I was just shocked that she didn’t apologize for the inconvenience and take my order so of course after being treated like that I told her that I don’t wanna order anything anymore and she seemed very happy that I was leaving She said that’s completely fine. But not once tried to help me or apologize for the inconvenience. I wasn’t even complaining I just wanted to know what was going on. Terrible customer service, I will stick with McDonald’s. Management please do something about this. I went to work and discussed this with my co workers and they said they have also experienced poor customer...
Read moreWent through the drive thru on 4/5/24, and was met by a lady who was trying to take my order, I assume she was in training because it just seemed like she was having a hard time. No worries I thought, I'm pretty understanding and patient. Then another lady got on the speaker and I had to give her the order all over again. Still, no worries. I figured this was the trainer stepping in to help her out. Got up to the window , and paid. Then she hands me my wife's "sweet tea"... Um excuse me ma'am, this is supposed to be an unsweetened tea. The trainer said from behind her that it was infact unsweetened tea (had my wife verify just in case) it was unsweetened, cool no worries. Then she hands me my "cola", um excuse me ma'am, this is supposed to be a Dr pepper. She then went on to try to educate me that coke, root beer, and Dr pepper are all cola's, and informed me she didn't want to argue about semantics... I wasn't trying to argue at all. Got our food and left. Was just a very strange encounter... Oh but just so you know...Although Dr Pepper has similarities to cola, the American Food and Drug Administration has ruled that Dr Pepper is not a cola, nor a root beer, nor a fruit-flavored soft drink. Rather, Dr Pepper is said to be in a category of its own kind, called "pepper soda", named for the brand. But hey what do I know, I never attended the university of Jack in the box. Between this and spending over $40 for 3 medium meals... I won't be coming back... Sorry Jack... We had a good run,...
Read moreWe ordered our food through the official Jack In The Box app at 1:40 and were waiting for it until 2:25. Everyone behind us and in the very unbusy drive thru line were served, even though I'd told them I had a mobile order ready. They just kept staring at us rudely and going about their day like we weren't even supposed to be there, as if we hadn't just paid them to make us food that they still hadn't given to us. They helped literally everyone else but us, and even though I WATCHED them prepare the bag, they still never gave us our food. They just let it sit there on the counter right next to the french fry machines while my cheesecake got warm & inedible. It wasn't even on the outermost counter where I could've just grabbed it myself. We just had to cancel the whole order because the food would've HARMED US with how long it'd been sitting out in the open. Plus, they've been completely ignoring the updated MANDATORY mask policy. They don't follow OR enforce it, plus they let homeless people, anti maskers, and people with pets who are most DEFINITELY not service animals in and serve them without saying a word about it. All of these people got helped and WE didn't? After I'd just worked a 10hr shift? Plus most of the people who hang around the building are usually either transients, drug addicts or homeless people, so having to go inside the building in an area like that was stressful enough. I don't think we were even refunded for...
