The Chubby Bean — Restaurant in Salem

My first time here I ordered 3 egg & cheese sandwiches. The girl taking my order acted like it was a problem for me to have no meat on my sandwich , so she asked whoever was in the back . Anyways I get my food and go home and open the bag of food for my wife and my son . Lo and behold after waiting 20 mins for my food all 3 sandwiches are burnt there’s no cheese or sauce on any . The girl also gave me my food stacked on top each other in a plastic bag that was given to me sideways , not straight up . My wife quickly returned and everything was given how it “normally” is supposed to be . It’s weird that they treated me that way . They obviously thought I didn’t know how the sandwiches are made and felt as if they could do it any kind of way , maybe the color of my skin , either way I shouldn’t have to feel disgusted for being treated differently than my wife (who’s not the same race as me) and shows how the credibility of some of these Business are not professional. Their service is just as bad as their marketing and I will NEVER recommend this...

Drive thru coffee (more Mexican style drinks then full coffee stand which was great!) With a solid menu of Mexican food like street tacos, burritos, etc!

This place is POPPIN busy! Be prepared, we went on Saturday around 11am and we did wait about 15 minutes in the line but it was TOTALLY worth it. We got a big burrito to split, two drinks, and paid less then we have the past 3 times at ANY other stand for JUST drinks in the vancouver/Portland area! Our burrito was giant, probably 1.5-2lbs genuinely and stuffed full of all the goods. The drinks were crisp and cold. Loved the oversized straws as well.

This is a total home run for the concept, execution, food, drinks, all of it! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area, or even looking for a little exploring- snag one and then head to the waterfalls...

I got the Dulce de Leche Cookie Butter Latte and a carnitas taco. First off everyone was SO nice and seemed genuinely happy. I walked up to the window and was pleasantly surprised about how fast my stuff came out. The taco was incredible served with a juicy lime slice and a cup of avocado sauce which it didn't need it was more than flavorful and moist enough on its own. That being said I do wish the sauce had some kick to it, it was incredibly flavorful but I just wanted some heat. Next time I come through I will definitely be asking for all their sauces. The coffee was incredible. I wouldn't change a thing. The coffee flavor wasn't overpowered by the cookie butter or the dulce. I can't wait to come back and try their other flavors and...
