The diverse clientele that sits harmoniously enjoying their favorite drinks, deeply involved their laptops and good company. Its a good place to get together with a friend, and get my little chihuahua a side of turkey. (Yes if you request a side of turkey for your dog or roast beef, they will accommodate 🥰 ) Atleast they have and I've been going there through 2 owners (plus they have free WiFi! It's become a favorite spot to meet friends and shoot the breeze inside or out. I prefer out, im claustrophobic :) not to mention i just love being outdoors. Google Maps asked me if its changed through the new ownership. Yes it has. This owner is not as visible in the establishment and seems a little less interested in her clientele. She had a beautiful singing group in one day and they all sang, if they did that on a regular, their clientele would be through the roof. But it seems to be no more just an investment and its just missing the warmth that the previous owner brought with her. And She didnt care who you were or where you came from and there was never any conflict or confrontation. She helped so many less fortunate with rides, a cup of coffee or something to eat. But no one COULD hold a candle to that woman, so its not real fair to compare i guess. I just miss the warmth. Thank god one of the ladies who worked for the previous owner stayed and she makes it bearable because she nows how to make my coffee perfect 💕 i just love her . Shes the remaining warmth and i hope to see that improve because i love this place, im just a little bit disappointed in the prices getting raised to match Dutch Bros and theyre not them. Thats why I GO there. No offense Dutch Bros. And no offense intended to the other new Baristas, that woman (how embarrassing after 4 or 5 years, i cannot say her name for the life of me )has known me the longest and how i like my coffee. And she reminds me about my dogs turkey so he dont get left with no snack 😋. Thats the highlight of his day, bless his little old man heart. Truth be told its the highlight of mine ! 🥰❤️💞He loves the social part of the adventure and going to bush park before we have coffee. He gets so excited when i get his dog stroller out that he wiggles out of my arms before i can get him in it lol. And being the person with a unsanitary bathroom, i really wish people would provide seat covers after getting a super staff that hospitalized me, i have a phobia of public bathrooms as it is. Other than, they are a pretty clean establishment. I don't worry about walking away sick, with some general hygiene practice. Sorry about the long review, i was kind of waiting for this one. It's my favorite coffee shop. The broadway commons make a good cup o" Joe too ! Oh thats another review. One more thing, this coffee shop /restaurant is dog friendly and there is plenty to read in the little library...
Read moreI wasn't very impressed by the atmosphere (a lot of clutter near the entrance), and I wasn't super excited to buy a 10$ sandwhich, but I was in a rush. I had taken the time to look at the menu on here and decided I would get "The Clucker". A simple chicken salad sandwhich that is supposed to come with cranberries, lettuce, and tomatoes. Customer service was average, and I was surprised when I saw that the actual price was $14.25. If I had known I was going to pay almost $15 for a sandwich, I wouldn't have come, but like I said, I was in a rush. Whatever, I ordered the Clucker and after about 10 minutes I received my sandwich. The chips and pickles it came with were wrapped in some plastic baggies (the pickles were dripping juice, poor packaging), and the chips were fine. Finally, I got to the sandwich. Average size, but hopefully, it's good! I had chosen to get the wheat bread, and boy was it so disappointing. I opened it up and saw that the chickensalad didn't look to have any cranberries. I took a bite and no cranberries to be tasted.
So I had to waste time returning and told the employee that my sandwich had no cranberries. First, they said that it didn't come with cranberries. So I pointed at the menu that clearly said it comes with cranberries. Then, the employee said that the cranberries were in the chicken salad. I told them I didn't see or taste them, so I want cranberries. After some hesitation and babbling, I received a container with dried cranberries. Good riddance, employees seemed to not know their own menu.
Anyways, the bread was cheap and dry, the chicken salad average, and it had very little lettuce. The chicken salad was also dripping very watery white sauce. The tomatoes were thick and yummy. Maybe not a big deal to others, but the chicken salad was unevenly spread, which just gives me the idea that the employees don't care to create good sandwhiches. The bread and salad reminded me of a sandwich I have eaten at 7-Eleven. Overall, I feel robbed and disappointed, I'm shocked this place has a decent rating.
I absolutely will never waste my money here again. Update your damn prices on...
Read moreI went in to try this place I drive by daily on my way to work. I have a food allergy and the girl behind the counter didn't know if items on their menu had dairy. I assume a manager or owner came out. When she was asked she said she didn't know because the food is outsourced. They don't cook it there. There was another customer behind me so I didn't want to hold up the line. I was really hungry and this happens a lot. My options are always limited but that is my issue. I realize that. I asked for a bagel any bagel as a lot are dairy free. The lady looked really bothered reached under the counter and handed me a bag of bagels. She told me to look at the ingredients myself. At that point I just wanted to leave. I said nevermind and thanks anyway. The young gal felt bad and told me to have a nice day. I wished her the same. The other woman I would just like you to know that I realize food allergies can be a pain. I asked politely. I wanted to try your place of business. I was looking forward to a treat. Instead my morning was ruined by...
