Bush House Museum — Attraction in Salem

We come to the Bush pasture grounds often and it is absolutely stunning. The house and property are a ten star for my family and I. The actual house tour itself was a zero rating. We have wanted to see this beautiful home for some time now and we’re immediately met with a nasty comment about how the kids won’t enjoy this tour before even entering bc we had two children with us. The tour guide made it painfully dull and dragged on while spending way too much time talking vs allowing us to just look at the house. We were so annoyed and asked to leave after spending 20 min in the first room. Door was locked so she had to open it to let us out (there should be a better way of doing this instead of locking people in/stopping the tour to let people out) she was so unbelievably rude and commented how she was basically right for telling us it’s not a good tour for children. This was a terrible experience for adults, never mind children. Hoping they do different tours with other people or possibly open-house style tours at some point so we can actually see the house. Please get a new tour guide who is kind and doesn’t spend her entire time elaborating on every...
