Noble's Tavern — Restaurant in Salem

I had just stopped in after being on my bicycle all day. Played $20.00 and won. Friendly corner neighborhood atmosphere. Bar tender was prompt at addressing me,and even tho I declined a beverage other than water,she was STILL friendly and attentive. Typical dive bar...beer is your best choice ..Real food comes from JOHNNY'S.next door...jukebox quiet...while sports are on...or boring bartender doesn't play it!!. well drinks made with bottom of the barrel alcohol.,"gut killer Monarch"...,I could listen to the bartenders talk about the owner and his little notes since the jukebox was',quiet.. ..dance to the lotto machines songs, very Entertaining!! Stopped by to check out an old town favorite. Drink was stout, fairly priced, heavily iced. Atmoshpere was retro and neat. Great old 70s trucker music but stopped after 2 songs. The bartender went out to smoke and gab with lady friend and never came back to restart the music or refill my drink after 10 or 15...
