We went to get ice cream here today. I thought $5 for a kids cone was pretty high but we still tried it. The service was really slow. We witnessed a bunch of health code violations and just gross habits. The girl took our money (cash) and then went to get some other people's ice cream and then ours. When she was walking from the order window to the ice cream case she was itching her face and then grabbed the ice cream scoop. She did not wash her hands after handling the money or even put on gloves either. After she got the ice cream for a few people, she rinsed her hands in the sink for like 2 seconds and didn't use soap. While we were here she also was using her phone and then getting people's ice cream without washing her hands. My child ate most of his ice cream but didn't like the cone part. I took a bite of just the cone and it was extremely stale. One of the parents in my group even said that he could hear how stale the cone was. It was so disgusting and I had to spit it out instantly. Then I was stuck with the nasty stale cone taste in my mouth. I was so grossed out by this whole experience. I must add that another guy came into the shop to help the girl finally. He walked in with a to-go box like he just came in from lunch. He never washed his hands either and was also talking people's orders. This place clearly isn't worried about the cleanliness of their employees hands or keeping the product fresh. How you have extremely stale cones at an ice cream shop in the summer, I have no clue! Also how hard is it to wash your hands when you return to work or after you take people's orders and money? I would have gladly waited an extra minute for them to do that. I would not recommend eating here and I would recommend for the health department to come in and either make follow the rules or shut them down. Either way, I won't be returning. I can't ever trust a place where I witnessed so many disgusting things and had an extremely stale ice cream cone. If I could rate it less than 1...
Read moreThis is a business that I will come to and support every chance I get!! My first experience here was about two years ago when they opened, and we were visiting Donatello’s pizza. My son has severe ADHD and can get overwhelmed easily with all the noise and lights going on in the arcade. Him and I walked outside because it was too much and he was crying. On any Sundae was right next door and saw him crying and immediately came out and opened the door for him and gave him a free ice cream. This is seriously something I will never forget. It meant the world to him! And of course to me too as I saw how happy it made him. This is a great example of what this business is all about. They care about our community and have great ice cream! I love the nostalgic feeling you get when you walk in, and the games we can play while enjoying our ice cream. Every one puts away their electronics and has a good time together. I love the special events they put on as well. Always fun and super family friendly! Fantastic place - and a fantastic...
Read moreUpdate: we showed up here tonight with about 12 people from our church youth group and I'm sure that inside the staff may have groaned just a little bit. However, they worked exceptionally hard and were very pleasant and did a fantastic job scooping big and being happy so that our group could get our ice cream treats. Great job as always!
We have enjoyed treats here numerous times since this place has opened. Ice cream, yes, but the best is the dole whip floats.
However, what stands out is the service. At our last visit (when it was still warm), we showed up for ice cream, and the line was probably 10 or more deep, and the young woman serving took payment and served each order herself -- she told us that another worker had called in, leaving her to do all the work by herself. I felt stressed just looking at the line -- but this worker served each person with a friendly smile, and did an excellent job, until the owner showed up (and he's a great guy too -- friendly, hard working, and generous!) to help cover. Outstanding...
