Kitchen staff food handling was sanitary and appear to be EXTREMELY low priority the day I purchased my plate of food. The CHEF on duty cooking had one hand gloved the other hand ungloved and rubbing his nose and picking his nose and then handling the vegetables and the meat with the unclean hand. The chef went on to using that SAME ungloved hand that the fingers had been in the the nostrils in the hand, has been rubbing up under the nose and proceeded to handle uncook RAW MEAT and vegetables and cook food to be served to the customers. I submit a complaint of my CONCERNS to the management team just get a reply from the restaurant manager stating “We are sorry that one hand was covered with a glove! WHAT? They totally dismissed their employee(s) nasty food handling habits, as well as the OSHA violation going on in their kitchen. Did not care to make it right to the customer whatsoever. I had to go to a different restaurant to purchase email for lunch. All due to the staff and management refused to refund my money! THE FOOD HANDLING is VERY unsanitary! It was being prepared and served to the public with staff putting their bodily fluids on the food! If I was NOT forced to pay for BEFORE seeing the UNSANITARY, chef cooking habit in the kitchten I would have WALKED OUT! Instead I was stuck with a meal that I would NOT, nor could I get my money back or receive a coupon for a meal for another day at Panda Express. I received in an email from the company management team, “Sorry” we will look into it ! The employees on duty at the restaurant they reply was “OH! It seems that I have address the unsanitary kitchen habits to the wrong entity! This particular restaurant management team and staff made my concerns, as well as my health concerns, feel unwarranted, and the lowest thing on their priority list of concerns!
The care team addressed concerns with the chef wearing ONE glove than stated 'We sincerely apologize'. They did not make any mention on the matter that my meal purchase was unsanitary for consumption! I REFUSE to eat anyones bodily fluids in my food. I feel that it is wrong for management not to make it right by the customer when they’re employees is violating OSHA policies in the open where customers can see exactly what they’re doing. Customer is bringing it to your attention, management is doing absolutely nothing to make it right to the customer! I have been to this restaurant many times. This is my first outrageous complaint. That is uncalled for outlandish behavior that should not be tolerated. The customer should not feel that they are being ignored! With that employee was/and is doing can make people sick!
OSHA provides a list of presence of illness, I will list a illness/conditions that can be found on OSHA website
Using any part of your hands to wipe or dipping your nose or mouth while handling food. Management and employee should review OSHA guidelines for the health safety of staff and customers.
Bronchitis - Cough/ Sneezing/runny nose/cold - Tuberculosis - CVOID - FLU
The list above or just a few symptoms where OSHA list that workers would have the need to rub or dig in your nose, sneeze, and/or cough, These are also elements that can make other people sick when any amount of body fluid is introduced into our food. Food workers should be vigilant with clean their hands as well work area before touching or handling food. I feel that ONE OF restaurants top concern is ensuring that their staff is fully educated on food safety, good hygiene in the kitchen as well as good body hygiene following OSHA guidelines. Restaurants should not be so quick to dismiss a health concern from a customer when it is brought to management attention. Gift card to replace the purchase meal I can be used at any panda express restaurants. I do not like to throw food away. There are many times when I will buy food to feed others. When I provide food to other people, I want the food to be something that...
Read moreI placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup tonight at this location. This one star rating is for the experience, not necessarily the food, although lukewarm food isn’t pleasant. I arrived and was welcomed, told them I was there for a pickup for Tyler. They told me my order wasn’t ready yet, despite the app telling me my order was ready for pickup 3 minutes prior to me walking in. I said ok and stood aside while other people placed their orders. They got a big line of people about 7 minutes after I entered the store. After 15 minutes waiting and watching other people place their orders I knew something was wrong. Another person who had ordered takeout showed up and got their order, but I still waited. Finally after nearly 20 minutes an employee asked for my name again, which I correct them. And the manager says over the crowd, “I’ve got it here.” It had been sitting on the counter the whole time as far as I could tell. In 20 minutes no one thought to ask me where did you order it from? What’s your name again? They didn’t check their pending takeout orders. And after finally realizing they had my order ready, they never apologized, they didn’t remake my to go order that had been cooling down this whole time. Nothing. I realize they got busy, but I was the only person in the restaurant for 7 minutes before someone else walked in. There’s a way in which to provide clear checks and balances so this type of thing doesn’t happen. If only someone had asked what I was waiting for after a few minutes I would’ve been on my way so easily. I likely will not be returning after...
Read moreEvery time, literally, every time I go into this place they are catering to grub hub or some other online ordering site. They have the little printer that sits and just pumps out online orders and each one gets a nice cut right in front of me even though I'm next in line, forced to just sit and watch all the food get taken and once there is no food left then they ask what I want. I ask for what is now clearly emptied and they tell me I have to wait.. no duh. Point being if you would have taken my order when I was next and not 7 more grub hub people and 20 min later, then I would have had my order and been out of the store and the person at home waiting for their food wouldn't know the difference of that or the driver making a wrong turn. I'm physically in the store and get ignored, even when I bring it up to the employees.. they offer me a free small drink and then I go back to waiting because a new order from grub hub just came in.. It was like watching a 3 ring circus with everyone running around with their heads cut off, no one knew what was going on. This place needs someone from corp. to come in and show them what's up. I wont go back just...
