Visited Panera Bread for the first time after eating a sandwich purchased for me by a friend, which was delicious. We pulled up to the drive thru menu (don't know if we could order inside or not), but the menu didn't appear complete. The order taker told us we could order when we were ready. I explained this was our first time here, and that we might have a lot of questions To that, we heard, sorry, I can't hear you very well It went down from there. We asked first for a ham and cheese sandwich for my son. "Sorry, I can't hear you" I then basically yelled the order, and spelled it out. We would like ham, H A M, and cheese, C H E E S E. The order taker said "you would like a grilled cheese sandwich" NO we both replied, loudly. . "Well, we don't have ham", he answered. No menu. No suggestions. We had no idea what sandwiches were on the menu. My son said, I will have what you are having, mom. So I said we would have 2 chicken salad sandwiches, but we needed to change the bread on one of them. The order taker wasn't sure we could do that, then said we could We discussed white and wheat bread, and said no tomatoes on that sandwich. The order taker said " so you want a chicken salad sandwich on white bread, no tomato, and a second sandwich on wheat..." I told him the first sandwich was right, but the second sandwich, for me, was how the sandwich was regularly made.. He told us the price would be $19.23 cents or something. We went to the pay here window. Handed over a $20 bill. 'Would you like to donate your change?' Sure we would. We were handed a bag with our sandwiches. I asked for a to go menu. Sorry, we don't have those, but we do have a web site you can view. (I had tried doing this and couldn't see the whole menu). Lesson learned. I loved my sandwich, my sons was 'ok'. He won't go back there. Why? Customer service, when the order taker heard it was our first time thru he should have been ready to find out what we liked that matches their menu, there were no...
Read moreNew to the area and chose this Panera purely because it was the highest reviewed out of the few in town; I was not disappointed.
I did not order food, and that has continuously been a sore-spot at Panera for me, so I cannot speak to that.
What I can speak to is the kind and quick service of the staff here. I am not sure if the lady with glasses and spiked up hair is the manager, but she sure seems to be. Juggling drive-through ordering while prepping food and STILL getting me my unlimited sip club cup quicker than any Panera I have visited in this country makes her top-tier. I waited less than five seconds for it despite visiting during a lunch rush.
The dining space is exceptionally clean, all of the ordering tablets actually work, and the bathroom follows suit. I saw employees scan for things to pick up, too, which isn't always the case at Panera.
Aside from the things they can control, this location also has one of the best layouts in the chain. There are dim and cozy nooks with booths, comfortable lounge chairs, and wide open spaces with large windows. It's nice to have several pockets of atmospheres in one space, and I imagine it's a warm space during the...
Read moreI love Panera, never had a problem until now. Did an online order. Did not receive one sandwich or my drink. Order two salads, one said on the ticket that went to them was to take everything out of the salad except the tomato's. Not what was ordered, so instead of calling us to double check that is how they made the salad. Called the location to say there was a screw up in our order. Was told they could make it but then I would have to go pick it up. I asked to speak to the manager, I already was. Asked to speak to someone above him because he was not authorized to give me a refund. He told me to calm down or he would hang up on me. I told him that this was not acceptable so he said for me to call back when I calmed down and hung up on me. I called back saying I wanted to speak to somebody above him, he said they were not available. I asked him what were my options. I could get a refund in the next couple of days when his supervisor came back. He said they have been having problems with online orders. So they already knew of the problem and are doing good nothing to fix it. I don't recommend ordering online from this location. Hopefully they will do...
