Rancho Viejo — Restaurant in Salem

So I ordered a molcajete. It's served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. I ordered it spicy, because that's how I like it. They brought me a literal bowl of soup. In a soup bowl. I had to ask for a spoon. It tasted like an off brand tomato soup with some meat and veggies. And to make it "spicy", they stuck a whole jalapeño in it. No spice whatsoever. Not cooked in... not diced up... just swimming in what is supposed to resemble fajitas. Just vile. You get better mexican at taco bell. Make the few extra minute drive to there or even Jaliscos. I've had better margaritas at Applebee's $1 night. The chips tasted 10 years old. Seriously the worst food I've ever had. I can't believe they are still...

Great experience. We got a massive amount of food for a good price. Service was good. The sweet tea was pretty good for Ohio. It was very quiet, which we like, and quaint. We were surprised. My wife said it was one of the best margaritas, strong enough and everything. She’s a tough critic on drinks. Decor was great. I’m tough on reviews, put this place earned 5 stars on my experience. Don’t know about these other few snotty losers who gave a bad review. Maybe their experience was bad but ours was perfect. Keep it up...

Last time there on 12/30/2018 paid bill $17.32 with credit card and after checking my account within a day, noticed additional charge on my account for exact amount $17.32 posted 1/1/19 as restaurant tab entry noted as “shadow card” charge. Then immediaty after that six seperate charges fot $10.00 each. This prompted me to contact bank and close my credit card account. Bank advised me time of charges were one after the other, as if testing the account. So they got me for $77.32. Just a...
