Farmhouse Roasters — Restaurant in Salem

This review is specifically for their signature coffee. We've been getting Farmhouse Blend coffee since before this restaurant existed when they were selling out of their Peach Tree Ice Cream location and we absolutely love it. While I grew up in Salem, NH - I loved to Los Angeles almost 20 years ago and every year at Christmas time look forward to my parents sending us Farmhouse Roasters Coffee at Christmas time.

I wouldn't say we're exactly coffee snobs, but let's just say we like what we like, and enjoy nice dark blends. My wife and I have made it a bit of tradition to buy each other different types of artisan coffee around the holidays from many local shops, brewers, etc... and honestly, I think Farmhouse Roasters Farmhouse Blend beats anything out there. I feel like we're kind of "chasing the high" as we search for different coffees to try, and always come back to Farmhouse Roasters which is super consistent every time.

The restaurant is great too, but honestly, we haven't been since pre pandemic so I can't give a detailed review... but it's worth it to simply load up on coffee if you're local or buy online... which we need to...

I have been coming here to buy my coffee beans and coffee since I discovered this coffee shop some months ago. The service is always excellent. I very rarely post anything but their kindness and service today deserve a special mention. I was running late from an appointment for a work meeting. I stopped to grab a coffee and set down for my work meeting so I don’t take the meeting from my car. At 2 pm, I was still on my call. I did not realize that they close at 2 pm. They did not ask me to leave. When I asked the young lady as I realized it had become so quiet in the cafe, she told me that it was OK as I was having the work meeting. They even asked me politely if they can continue tidying up. Excellent customer service...

When you walk through the door you're met with warm smiles and scintillating aromas. It's a cozy shop bursting with atmosphere. The decor is rustic and inviting and the soft jazz playing in the background makes for a lovely accoutrement to the meal. If you're a coffee lover this place has a great variety and smooth flavors. The pastry selection is mouth watering. The menu is full of fresh-quality ingredients and flavor. From breakfast sandwichs lunch specials this place has something for everyone.
