Never been impressed by most of the personnel nor the owner of this location (it was totally overgrown with grass and weeds this spring). Placed an order via the app while shopping at Kroger (09:30 am). Walked from my car to the store only to find the cafe doors locked. Noted cars at the drive-thru so asked next person in line if I could use order board - no response at board. Then walked to drive-thru window and asked another driver if I could step in (not happy). Stand at drive-thru window and ask for my order. Person at window says, "Can't give you order". Ask how I get my order refunded. Says "You need to call corporate" - just want I want to do, waste more time. Ask for manager who was pleasant enough but said store closed because of "outage" (I'm assuming referencing the MS outage on Friday but note taking drive-thru orders and they have my order via app?!) Relents, gives me order and said I should have called store (would anyone answer). Never once an apology.
So I did call corporate to report this dismal...
Read more2 Stars because: my drinks are very inconsistent in quality and that is a big issue when paying nearly $7 for an iced caramel macchiato. Sometimes the drink is perfect, but it mostly is made wrong. I ask for extra caramel drizzle in the cup (just a preference for me and an easy request) and I barely get that. Today, my drink was positively made without any syrup. My first sip was milk and expresso with no sweetness. The staff are always so sweet, but please maybe do a training or reminder on how the drinks are to be made, quantity of product, and that they are not forgetting essential ingredients. I dread coming to this location, so I often drive out of my way to another that makes the drinks properly. Hope to see...
Read more2 main issues with this location: the ac and the bathrooms. The AC comes on randomly and the vents blow the air right where you sit. This makes this location unreliable as a study spot since you never know when you’re going to have to leave 5 minutes after sitting cause you’re getting frozen to death. Then the bathrooms, there’s a code. This is so tacky for Starbucks to do. It’s annoying to have to ask the busy workers for the bathroom code just because corporate decided that only specific locations should have easily accessible bathrooms. I’ve been to most Starbucks in the Roanoke/Salem area, and this one is the only one I’ve seen that does the bathroom code, so it’s even weirder that it’s not a...
