Kroger — Local services in Salem

Since we moved here from Charlotte, NC this has been our grocery store right around the corner which at that time was filled with long term employees who took PRIDE in everything they did! Especially since the start of the pandemic this store has gone downhill DRASTICALLY! Countless long term employees got out or refused to be treated like garbage and paid peanuts to do it! I read a recent review about the frizzy headed boy they have working in Customer Service... BEN ...A teenager with way to much authority yet despite his power CAN'T EVER complete whatever transaction he's presented with EXAMPLE spoiled hamburger WITH the receipt yet wasnt able to get the $ only store credit. I was always under the impression KRISTEN/KIRSTEN @ CUSTOMER just condescending unprofessional as it gets advising that I had been lucky despite it being done at 3 different Kroger's about cashing my 16 year old son's PAYCHECK and Kroger's Store policy rude as hell. I went down the road to RIDGEWOOD and never had to say a word except why I was cashing it explained he had no id and a 34 year employee told me that's how it was SUPPOSED to processed. THANKS KRISTEN for setting me straight in thinking you were professional, nice and knowledgeable!! I contacted corporate and was assured this was correct process despite KRISTIN talking down to me like i intentionally was doing something shady.Questionable people and activities in the parking lot are a norm and only getting worse! INSIDE and you'll REALIZE this is truly the most disgusting store in the NRV. The deli arbitrarily closes anytime it feels like it. Believe me it's alarming the entire store EMPLOYEES...

Usual don’t complain but me and my husband went through Brianna line she had nice attitude my husband fifty and I’m 39 understand the alcohol law but I wasn’t paying attention that when we got to the car and pulled off my husband beer wasn’t in the bag or rung up I mean understand when they ask and u don’t have I D but she never asked us for the i d. Evidently she just took it out it to the side and automatically denied us without even asking us for i d which we both had ours so didn’t have any problem showing it but she never asked and we both look way over the age limit but same time she needs to ask for I d instead of automatically denying without saying and just taking the beer to the side as I’m used sometimes people card me sometimes they don’t. But I rather be asked them to just assume and deny without telling us as she never asked us for I d which we had on me ur cashiers need to ask for I d before assuming and not speaking up denying or asking I d as we had to stop at another store just because I had ice cream in the truck so just stopped on way home but sametime I understand alcohol law but she didn’t even ask for I d and I just assumed she rung it up and put...

How does someone from Lakeside Kroger call me to come pick up my order later than the expected time but when I get there & have been waiting for 20 minutes when I call the best thing they say when I call is to cancel it’s still not ready. I mean if y’all can’t provide this service then don’t offer it. The lady I talked to on the phone wondering what was going on terrible customer service, cancel it well I wouldn’t have placed it if I didn’t really need it. So update… after an hour waiting my order came well a lot of it they didn’t have but the lady I actually talked to on the phone was also bringing them out. She did apologize for wait & she did take off some for my wait plus they didn’t have have stuff I wanted & didn’t try to substitute ex. eggs they just said they were out but I feel like after talking to her in person she made me feel better about the situation I still had waited an hour & I didn’t get half my items cause they were out of them but she did give me some coupons off my order & was nice so I’m going to up my stars & that was definitely better...
