China Fresh — Restaurant in Salem

China fresh is actually pretty good. I loved their lo mien. But i will say the staff are standoffish and strange. I think the lady here mentioned by others really has some sort of mental problem and I'm not joking. I asked her to give me 6 soy sauces for my 2 lo miens. She replies “ you want 6?” I reply yes. She asks why. I said because I have 2 lo miens and my friend and I like a lot of soy sauce. She got super excited and berated me saying I was trying to get too much stuff for free. She said she would give me more soy sauce for 50 cents. I said just keep your soy sauce and picked up my bag to walk out. She threw some extra packs of soy sauce on the counter and yelled “ OK BUT ONLY THIS TIME!” I said i didn't want them now because she got so angry. She said “ OK GOOD!” laughing at me. I just walked out. In my opinion that lady really needs to go see a doctor or something. Its not a cultural thing because I have a chinese friend who grew up here and he says regular people don't act like that. Chinese or american. Need to go see that fake doctor on their Facebook another reviewer...

I came in at 9:44 PM on July 27th, 2023 and I ordered a pint of regular fried rice and one egg roll (image attached). The menu shows the price to be 3.95 for the fried rice and 1.85 for the egg roll. I was charged 11.00 for the meal. As I look at the size of my fried rice, it looks like a quart. It is possible that they charged me for a quart of vegetable fried rice which is 7.95 which would roughly be 10.00 before some tax, but this is not what I asked for and when I was given my order, the cashier recited what I requested. My total would be (if this is a quart of regular fried rice...) roughly 8.00-9.00. This was not what I asked for, additionally there are bits of pork in my rice. I have dietary restrictions from pork and shellfish, so I cant even eat this rice.

China Fresh is not fresh.... lets get that out of the way first. Secondly these people are strange. They write fake reviews for themselves and to prove what I'm saying all you have to do is go to their facebook and look at the numerous profiles that they have made and wrote reviews about themselves on. they even reply to other people's comments saying how awesome they are. I have been by here and the food was mediocre. I asked the lady at the counter " who is Abraham franklin "? A fake profile on their facebook. She said " He is a doctor from Roanoke and he is our good customer ". Really now? If you search on google theres no doctor by that name in Roanoke. I told her that. She ignored me. My cousin asked her next time. She told my cousin "I have no idea who that is" apparently she realized she had been busted. Average food and...
