Tacos La Guerita — Restaurant in Salem

I dunno if this is the same truck that is parked there now... the truck that is there now is solid black & the menu was much smaller... so if it isn't the same truck, I apologize. But anyway I went to that location today and I was pretty let down. The reviews were great but I wasn't impressed. It's cool to have a taco truck where it's only $1.50 per taco but the taste just isn't there. The tortillas were store bought (as expected in this town), the pastor was under seasoned and dry, the green sauce was very mild. To top it off, the guy who made it didn't wash his hands after using his phone to run my card. Hoping that doesn't bite me later.. no pun intended. Any who, cheap but mediocre at best. On to...

This place is pretty nice for a small "mom and pop" place. For the price I think it is worth it, quick service, and tasty. The Carne Asada is kind of dry but with the spicy sauce I could barely tell. Like I said for the price it's actually pretty good. It also tastes very traditional unlike most places around here.
