POOR SERVICE OUTWEIGHS THE GOOD FOOD
The food is great, which is why I have regularly returned, but almost every order I put in here they get wrong one way or another. Fairly, I would estimate 80% of my orders have been wrong, and we have gone relatively frequently off and on since they opened this location because I live close. It would not be so bad, but if you don't catch it and drive home, they do nothing to make up for the inconvenience. They will make your food correct if you go back and have them see the evidence of whatever was made incorrectly, but their policy is that they have to take back the food that was made incorrectly and throw it out without giving you the option to keep it, even if you paid $3 more for steak to be added and they forget the steak you paid for, and you could have given the other to someone else. I kind of get it: They want you to commit that you really did not want what you got to protect themselves, but the customer is out $3 in the scenario above unless he puts up an extra trip to their location in the middle of his dinner. The customer loses time, gas, has to go through the disappointment and inconvenience without even so much as a coupon. This has happened a few times to me, so I think tonight I have decided that even though they are closeby, I might just not go there anymore. It just doesn't make sense that the customer has to pay for the restaurant's mistakes over and over. Other locations are ok when I have gone. I would just suggest that if you get food here, double-check it is made correctly EVERY time before driving off. One last thing, there have been 2 or 3 employees that were with them who were very nice, but a majority of the people who work here are not very friendly or polite. I almost always feel like I am just another order and not a person afterwards or that I was treated...
Read moreThe first time I ordered from Victorico's was through Uber. I had never been there before, so I took a shot. It was amazingly yummy, and packaged very well. I had pictured this place as a really nice restaurant from the quality food, and the way they packed it. I also Door Dash part time, and that's when I got to visit Victorico's for the first time. It wasn't quite what I had pictured. Nothing at all bad, but I certainly wasn't expecting to see a drive through. Nor had I thought that it would be such a small place. They have however, done an excellent job at using that space to their advantage, and maintain it very well. The outside has really colorful neon signs that highlight the place very well. I have poor eyesight and I could see exactly where it was from a good distance when going there. It was super clean on the inside and they seemed to be very quick and organized. Also they are very nice people and have good customer service. Ok, one last, Very Important thing. This is the most important thing I have to say about this place and it's the number 1 reason that I will keep going back to eat there.... Their red sauce is Soo hot it's almost unbearable !! Wow, not only my mouth and lips, but my whole damn face felt like it was on fire... Normally I wouldn't go for sauce that hot. This sauce however, is so friggin delicious, I seriously don't care if my entire face were to melt off of my head, .. I will still keep on eating it!! It is, by far, the best red sauce I have ever eaten in my life!! This is not an exaggeration, it truly is that good!! Try it! Even if you don't like your food spicy, try it!!! You'll make an exception for this...
Read moreI decided to try Victorico's on recommendation. I ordered 2 crispy tacos. 1 chicken taco, 1 shredded beef taco, and a chili relleno burrito. The chicken tacos tasted good, and the meat was juicy. However, after only 5-10 minutes of driving, the taco's that my wife got were soggy and had to be eaten with a fork.
She also ordered a chimichanga which came out pretty good. Meat was moist, good flavor. However, the beans and rice were unfortunately bland.
The shredded beef in my taco was over cooked to the point of it being tough/crunchy. I had to throw it away. The chili relleno burrito was good for the first couple of bites and started to lack flavor throughout the rest of the burrito.
I ordered an enchilada meal for my mother and the beef had little to no seasoning.
My roommate ordered the Cali burrito that was decent but there was a lot of oil at the bottom of the burrito. He also ordered Carne asada fries and those came out pretty decent as well.
Also, the prices are quite high. We spent a little over 70$ and feel the quality did not match the price. This cost 30$ over what we would normally spend at our regular spot for 4 people.
I am rather sad that the food turned out this way because of how much was spent. I'm hoping things get better here with time. I may give another try in the near future to see if anything...
