I'm not a normal Wendys patron but I wanted to try their new bourban bacon burger. The drive thru lane seemed long so I went inside thinking it would be faster. There were a handful of other customers in the restaraunt at various stages of service and I was able to place my order in a reasonable amount of time. But then I ended up waiting and waiting. Watching people who ordered after me get their food first. Before I finally spoke up I witnessed 6 separate people/orders have to come back to the counter because their food was either made wrong or items were missing. The amount of customers wasn't exceptional and there appeared to be ample employees working. But the [only] poor girl taking and filling counter orders seemed to be new and wasn't getting the level of support her competency level required. Especially given the amount of employees that seemed to have time on their hands. After 10 minutes I finally spoke up. The young man found my order and figured out/explained that the reason for the delay was that my order had accidentally been deleted. Then he tried handing me my bag of food that had been made some 9 minutes ago. When I questioned this the young man repeated the reason for the delay. To which I said wanted it remade. Begrudgingly this was granted. While waiting for that I told the man that this amount of wait time was unacceptable and I wanted a refund. This is when his attitude shifted. He again repeated why my food was late. I didn't budge. Then he offered me a frosty. I said no, I wanted my money back. Only at this point did he finally, with plenty of attitude, offer to get the manager and stormed off to do so. The manager, previously unseen, walks up and I explain the situation. And then I had to explain the correct way to rectify the situation. There was no "I'm sorry, how can I make this right." The burden was on me to explain why a refund was justly appropriate. Then the bumbling manager not only struggled to complete the mechanics of the task but stopped to intervene with another customer's order, forcing me to have to wait even longer. A fellow customer shared with me that every single time they come to this Wendy's they have to bring the order back. The burger itself was tastey but the pub fries were a severe departure from advertising photo. Needless to say, I will never go back to this...
Read moreI love Wendy’s, always have, and I think they have one of the best hamburgers around. I even worked for Wendy’s about 45 years ago.
That is why I debated leaving this review but I think it’s just a location problem.
We went in the store to order but after a long drive I needed to use the mens restroom. I went back to the mens powder room and the light was off and I couldn’t find a way to turn it on … no problem, went up front lo see how Io make it work. An employee passed me in the hall and I turned around and I said that I couldn’t find a way to turn on the light. Nonchalantly the employee said yea, it doesn’t work. And incoraged me to go in and do the best I could.
I shut the door and it was darker than king tuts tomb. I opened the mens room door and held it open with one hand and the other one was … well you know, it was still dark and my aim isn’t the best even in direct sunlight. I can’t image how this place didn’t have an inch of urine on the floor
You have multiple osha issues in this environment let alone liability issues if someone was to fall.
Preceded back to order and the staff was a mess. We waited for over 10 minutes as the cashier had to collect trays to put paper inserts in for new customers. She initially greeted us but never returned to take our order. The grill guy was leaning against the fry station in dirty pants. Whe a new employee walked in there was some dispute between the two that should have been addressed in the break room instead of the public. Multiple employees walked by us waiting to give our order but most never looked at us but we did get a friendly smile or two.
After waiting for way to long standing at the counter we left ……
We drove to the next town and stopped at the Wendy’s there and had a great meal, as always, and the service was awesome!
I hope that this particular location can pull itself up a bit and take pride in the Brand and themselves. Everyone deserves a great experience when...
Read moreI had hour lunch, went into this place and was going to enjoy a nice lunch with my girlfriend who drove from 45 minutes away to spend with me, spent 20 minutes in line(first person in line) didn't even get to sit down for lunch had to go back to work. The employee is taking orders, working the line. Prepping the bags, cooking food and 3 people working the window. Idk what their problem is. Hire more people or figure it out. I'm never spending my lunch here again. My fries were soggy, I also got queso fries for my gf and didn't have any the toppings the pictures shows. Like bacon it was cold cheese on top of soggy fries. I was in rush to get back to work so I couldn't stay around and wait another 20 minutes to fix a mistake and now my lunch time and my girlfriends time to come see me had been ruined. The rep. Doing everything was nice not her fault she was literally doing everything. Including dropping nuggets for the guy in front of us. The lady who was originally left because she didn't have time on her lunch and lost her time too. Don't plan on going here guys go elsewhere. This place is ridicolous if your trying to get a quick meal for your break. Hour is usually a long lunch compared to most places who...
