I haven't been here in a while. So I decided to come in for dinner Jan. 18th about 7pm. Wait time at the door was short, as they were not busy. My daughter and I got seated and our waitress Sarah (I think), was out shortly to greet us and take drink orders. I ordered for my daughter first and her food was quickly put in and came out in no time. I however, ordered after my daughter but mine took a little time to get out to me (maybe 10-15 mins). Fine. Cooks gotta cook. As soon as Sarah put the plate down, I immediately noticed the rice was way overcooked, as were the beans. I took a bite of both to test, yes very overcooked. I tried for the enchiladas instead which were burnt on both ends. The enchiladas did not taste good at all. Definitely not what I was expecting as I've ate here before and they were always so good. I had to wait for Sarah (clearly never heard of 2 min in, check in). She finally gets to the table and I tell her what is wrong. Me being overly nice, I offered to pay for the effort it took to make the food but told her I was not paying for the meal. She takes it back and comes back to tell me she talked to a manager and they only charged me $6 for an $11 meal. It was getting late and so I told her it was fine but my problem here is, A manager should have came out and apologized and not charged me at all. I didn't get an apology from management. I got an apology from a server who thought It would effect her tip if she didn't. I probably won't be back due to the lack of managers actually having integrity and being a good representation of what a...
Read moreI saw mostly good reviews and positive word of mouth comment about this establishment. When I tell you I was disappointed, I mean wholeheartedly disappointed. I ordered the Steak and Enchilada meal that included rice to go. Now, if I see any pink in my steak, I'm not eating it. It's well-done or none. I ordered my steak well done when I inserted my knife it went in too easy! At that moment, I already knew I cut it open, and I was instantly filled with regret. It was so pink like I just took a bite out of a cow strolling along. I put it away with intent to grill the pink away, but the more I thought about it, I couldn't do it, so away to the round file it went. Up next was the rice. It tasted like Swansons tv dinner rice I loved as a kid but not so much as an adult. It joined the steak in the round file. I was hoping the enchiladas would be the saving grace. I absolutely love and could live on enchiladas every day, but sadly, they too went in the round file. The taste was something I never had before, and pray I never will again. I don't remember what my child ordered, but needless to say, it was another round file participant. I spent over $40 buck only to have the trashcan get full. I applaud folks who can eat there, but sorry to say, I won't again. I did get $11 back...
Read moreIt wasn’t the worst service I’ve ever had by any means, Alexis was our server she kept all the liquor, hot objects, knives, and tortilla chips my toddler couldn’t have away from her most serves don’t do that but it felt rushed. As I tried to settle my 2 year old down I couldn’t order what I was trying to since she asked once and then asked if I wasn’t ordering anything, she also didn’t check the ID’s of my boyfriend or best friend which is worrisome. She didn’t check on us much and definitely paid more attention to the other tables not a big deal but felt a little odd. The most concerning part was her not checking the ID’s my best friend held it up and Alexis told her “I don’t need to see that I’m just getting drinks right now” we are in our mid 20’s I don’t think we look over 40 but I could be wrong. The few times we did see her she seemed a bit done with us and like she just...
