Stutzmans — Local services in Salina

Wonderful place! Every time I go visit my family I try to stop by but it’s either hit or miss (on my account) Well this time they weren’t were they usually are & my dad said they moved but didn’t say where. So I had to leave early one morning & get gas & the only station that had my type of fuel was by the mall. So as I’m heading over there I see the plants & the sign. It’s 6:30 a.m. & the gates are open & a lady blowing debris about with the leaf blower. The sign says open at 8 am, well I proceeded to go in & asked the lady, in which I startled her unintentionally. She said well why not since she was there that I could look around. Well what a wonderful selection of plants at very good prices! I particularly enjoyed the rarer & unique plants that you don’t find at your every day box store places. I ended up with some great hanging baskets and couple of other items. She offered me a box & some plastic to use in my car which was greatly appreciated especially since I was in a rental. I don't know anything about plants, in fact, I'm horrible at keeping plants alive and pretty. I do not have a green thumb. I stopped by Stutzmans 4 weeks ago and asked for some help selecting a plant that would thrive and continue to bloom in my morning sun - afternoon shade porch. Happen to just be driving by notice. An excellent selection of plants stopped in and spoke with a very nice lady named Marsha. She helped make pick out some tomato plants and some flowery plants for my residence and she could not have been nicer and the prices were excellent.
