We kicked things off with their crispy Coconut Shrimp—perfectly golden and paired with a sweet chili mango sauce that hits just right. I went with the Prime Rib, and it was everything a cut of beef should be—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Flat Iron Steak topped with blue cheese and wine sauce—bold, rich, and cooked perfectly.

And yes, we saved room for dessert. Their Bread Pudding with ice cream? A must. Warm, gooey, and drizzled in caramel—it was the perfect sweet finish.

Service was solid, ambiance was relaxed, and the food was straight-up fire. Definitely coming back.

After many years absence from Salinas, my family and I decided to try The Pub on Monterey St.last night and Boy, was I glad we did!!

I, at 90 years of age have had many a good steak, but NEVER, as good as this one!!

I ordered the skirt steak and that steak practically melted in my mouth with out chewing!!! And the flavor? ….was out of this world! That…was the BEST steak I have ever had and Chef Jose’ needs to know how much I appreciated that!! We will definitely be returning! and Marianna..was great too and filled us in on why this Chef is the BEST!! Kudo’s to Chef Jose’ and we will be seeing you again. Count on it!!! Elizabeth...

I'm giving this place Five Stars. Came here and stopped on a way to a trip expecting nothing from this restaurant it just happened to be one of the few restaurants still open in this location. However, the service alone was great, didn't have to Wait long for drinks, food, or any service at all. Food was amazing and priced reasonably for what you get. There's not too many good restaurants like this nowadays surviving and with that said take advantage of a place like this and I think you'll find it enjoyable with a nice atmosphere, with great food and even better service.
