I went into the KFC to treat my 2 Granddaughters and daughter in law to dine in for a nice lunch. One of my Granddaughters started feeling very sick so we went into the car and decided to order on the KFC app for a to-go order so she would feel comfortable. I then decided to order for the whole family at the house since we were going to take it home. My order went through at approximately 3:30-3:35 pm with a promised ready time of 4:05 pm since it was a large order. During that whole time my Granddaughter threw up in the van a total of 3 times and my daughter in law, (Her Mother) walked next door to 7-11 to buy her a Gatorade to help ease her pain. At 3:55 pm I went inside to see if our order was ready by any chance… It was not. I hovered by the pick-up station for some seconds but no orders seemed to be coming in for me any time soon so I sat. About a minute later a young man in a buttoned downed, checkered shirt asked me if I needed help or if I was waiting for something, I can’t remember but he was polite. I let him know I was there for my online order, he got my name, he and his co worker then another co worker looked into it, asked my name again, looked confused, then found my order in the system. I then heard a male voice say, “Ohhh, it's because it’s not suppose to be ready until 4:05…”. I looked at the time on my phone and it was 3:57pm. At 4:09 pm I got up and asked if my order was ready since the KFC app said my order had been ready since 4:05 pm. I was told NO and ALMOST. I asked, what was I waiting on and 2 employees said, the chicken nuggets were just about done. I then asked for the manager and for a cancellation of the order and a refund. The manager response was he could not issue me a refund. The order was still not ready. I walked out and left because my Granddaughter was still sick in the car. Immediately I contacted KFC via telephone, I have a case number. I spoke to 2 representatives, very professional, by the way, thank you. But, I was told the refund window had closed and I would not be able to be reimbursed for the order I didn’t receive. The representative did let me know she would escalate my case to Upper Management to which I asked who that would be but she could not elaborate. A little later a supervisor contacted me from the store and spoke to me about everything, that she's check the cameras and speak with the employees the following days then follow up with me. She said she'd some how find a resolution to getting me some kind of a reimbursement to which hasn't happened, it's been a week now. It's fine. She was nice and helpful though. Read moreWe came in the other day and bought chicken from this kfc which we found out is privately owned so no real affiliation with KFC ado what does that tell you? probably that quality control issues are going to be an issue. We ordered a bucket of chicken and biscuits total was $30 brought the chicken home and when we tried to serve it the coating was slimy and literally they apologized and said that they had given me the regular recipe instead of the crunchy recipe, so fine I took that bucket home and same thing happened. It was very clear to me that they had tried to refry old chicken, and that’s why it was slimy and the meat just tasted bad. In fact it made us all feel sick. I called and they told me they could not give me a refund they could only give me a cake ??? Or another bucket! Well we didn’t want that anymore it was so gross. All we wanted was our money back. We came in with All of the uneaten chicken except for maybe one or two pieces we had tried and decided it wasn’t edible, when I went in this manager was the most unreasonable man I’ve ever dealt with, he did not care about the customers experience and only argued with me and tried to say he gave me $60 worth of chicken and I owed him?!?! Read moreI rarely would give a "fast food" place 5 stars, but I went into this KFC last night and as I was waiting for my food the manager was looking at the order tickets on the counter and then pulled me aside to tell me how I could have ordered the same thing but in a way that would have saved me alot of money. And she was right! When she recalculated it my meal was $5 cheaper. I was quite impressed emough with that, but then she gave me the $5 back!
