I was at Subway some while ago tonight while picking up groceries from the outlet next door. A local woman was next to it, she's known for offering to wipe down windshields for a meal. I had tried to get her something from Subway because it was close and was supposed to be open until 9PM on Mondays. I was greeted by a locked door and three employees inside loitering around the table area. They completely ignored us both as I tried to open the door, which was obviously locked, and didn't pay attention when I rang the bell outside for assistance numerous times. I persisted on tapping the glass until one of them turned around and I made a gesture to the times on the door and a gesture to my wrist for the time. One of them, female, short, waved me off. I figured the holiday times were different and I offered the lady Sakura to which she said she couldn't allow it and disappeared and left me heartbroken. I was not able to help her. I left to get groceries and passed by not fifteen minutes later to check on the times again in order not to suffer a repeat of it next time and found the place had guests eating inside, a man and what I imagine were his sons and the door opened with ease. When I inquired the manager, who didn't offer me his name, insisted that I "couldn't be more wrong" and that I "wasn't making sense". Personally I don't write reviews because had it been for me I wouldn't have cared and gone home, but when you try to help someone you go that extra mile, when they need it and what you can when they don't want it, and to lose out on helping someone because of a few lazy employees and shameful manager, it's beyond awful. This was tonight, 12/6/16. I plan to speak to the so-called "manager" again, and inquire what times the owner is in. It will not stand, you'd think he'd use a good excuse like, "I'm sorry, we had a spill and had to clean up and couldn't risk people injuring themselves so we momentarily closed", but instead he basically, tells me I'm crazy and imagining things in that ever so nice, "customer service speak. Absolutely ridiculous, the only reason there's a Star on this review is because I can't use negative stars. Read moreThis is a clean and professional subway. I've order here several times. They do a pretty good job of getting your mobile orders done quickly and accurately. They also provide hand sanitizing stations in the store for customers. Parking is annoying though because it's located in the corner next to a smoke shop and grocery store.
