Baker's Nook LLC — Restaurant in Saline

We recently had a sheet cake for our daughter's birthday party - we chose whipped cream topping on a half and half strawberry and chocolate cake and it was a big hit. I am picky about when it comes to dessert and do not like too sweet icing on the cakes and thus went with whipped cream option. We were doubtful how it would turn out since it was our first venture with Baker's nook - they fulfilled our expectations more than we expected for. It was truly amazingly nice and everybody including the birthday gild, loved it. The cake was soft, moist, optimally sweet and the cream was soft and delicious. The decoration was nice as we chose for. People in the store taking orders and assisting us were very polite and knew what they were offering to us. The sheet cake was so big that we were able to offer takeaways, took portion home even after feeding 50 people. And it was not sky mounting expensive too as you get to find in the named brands. 10/23: Addendum The owner, Brian, contacted me to discuss my dissatisfaction with the cake I recently purchased. He apologized, and was empathetic to my situation. It was obvious he values his customers. Great service recovery. I'm not giving up on Bakers Nook, their cakes are normally delicious. 10/20: Purchased a two tiered cake with strawberry filling, for a baby shower. There was the thinnest layer of filling and the cake had very little flavor. This was not the usual quality of Bakers Nook Cakes, when I spoke with Ann at Bakers Nook, she advised me they put a thin layer of filling in the two tiered cakes, as the layers can slide when customers transport them. She also told me that there was plenty of frosting on the outside to give it flavor. I should have been advised that there would be very little filling on this cake. Thank you Bakers Nook for surpassing all my expectations on our vow renewal cake. We worked with Dayna, sending her a couple of photos, and talking on the phone, since we are from out of state. She not only captured exactly what we wanted, but went above and beyond, personalizing it with travel stickers from our favorite countries and states. We received many compliments not only on how beautiful the cake was, but also how good it tasted. With the cake being the anchor to all the decorations, I want to say a huge thank you Bakers Nook, you hit it out of the ball park with this one.

In a personal note to Dayna, the flowers you made for this cake were stunning!! You really have a lot of talent, and I am so happy we chose you to bring this design to reality.
