Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Salisbury

Update: 2 1/2 Star 1/15/23 Once I finally tasted the pizza is wasn’t bad it actually taste like how I remember pizza tasting. I still feel something has to change about the wait times. But I’m glad at least the pizza and cheese sticks were good salty, mild grease goodness. I can’t give a third star quite yet so I am give 2 1/2. Star.

Date: I honestly don’t know how to rate pizza. I arrived a little after 5 pm. I went in and asked for a large veggie pizza. The lady mentioned it would be a 2 hour wait. I said wait what? She said yeah a two hour wait. I was contemplating because I was excited that they finally decided to open the Pizza Hut branches back up. So I decided to still go ahead and order. I told her the lady at the register I didn’t want any olives on the pizza though but I wanted everything else. She said the supreme comes standard on the pizza and it can’t be removed. I said huh what do you mean it can’t be removed and then I said I didn’t order a supreme I ordered a veggie pizza. She said “oh sorry ok” then she stated that the system still will not allow them to modify the order and the order cannot be modified. I said what wait I never heard of that other places are able to make this one simple accommodation. So I asked for the manager keep in mind I do understand it’s a busy business and of course it’s busy because they recently fairly opened. So the manager came and I questioned the statement about the removal of the olives. He stated yeah it can’t be removed. I said I have never heard of that but ok. So he stated to just order a build pizza and just add what you want. I said ok but would that cost more they stated supposedly no. I said ok so I ordered the pizza. But I have to beg the question are the other standard pizza already premade? It doesn’t make since if you all making all pizzas and adding toppings ad you go that this one simple request couldn’t of been made. I am still currently sitting waiting for my order it is now 6:42 pm. I went back inside out of curiosity to see if they may have been finished on the order of a large vegetable pizza with cheese breadsticks. They said no so I asked are you offering something free to those who had to wait for 2 hours. The women looked at me funny and smirked and said “Oh No” and laughed. I said well it would be a good gesture to those who had to wait and I walked out. I tell you this if the pizza is not decently good at least I may or may not be coming back here. Also the staff don’t seem well trained quite yet. I will update this review once I have at least...

Based on the recent reviews of this new location in Salisbury, I was VERY skeptical about even ordering from here, but I did anyway :) I know time of day, day of the week, staff etc.. is going to have an effect on reviews, but Thankfully in my case, everything overall was good! I placed a carry out order online. It said 45 to 55 mins for pickup. No issues ordering online.. sadly Pizza Hut prices have not gone down for what you get, and no more specials for pasta Tuesdays :( I gave this location the full 55 minutes to an hour. I arrived and my order was there ready for me. Not sure how long it had been sitting in the warmer, and I didn't want to ask. My order was correct, I paid and left. No issues. Brought the food home. It was baked satisfactory, although half the medium cheese pan pizza was baked very nicely, the other half was not baked quite enough. Hopefully this will be fixed with time. The chicken alfredo pasta was baked well, but SADLY.... Pizza Hut has changed their recipe for this dish. Its not NEARLY as good as it used to be. Will NOT buy this again. The sauce was much on the runny side.. little flavor. not sure if this depends on who makes it?? The noodles were cook correctly, but done taste as good as the old school twist noodles they used to use. The chicken was a little tough, but not too bad. Not sure what happened to the portions.... seems like you get half of what you used to get with the old recipe.. but could be due to them using a different pan.. but looked small to me... Overall, I was pleased that I actually got my food, my order was correct, cooked satisfactory, food was very warm, and no issues! I will be ordering from this location again in the future. I hope this helps someone else based on all the other horrible experiences others have had.. I do feel...

By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had anywhere. I ordered 2 large plain pizzas just after 6pm on a Friday, when they would understandably be busy. My order was slated to be ready by 6:34pm, but did not come up as being ready until 7:10pm. This entire time I waited quietly and patiently.

Even after my order was marked as ready, i had to continue to wait because it was not even started yet. There was a very kind lady there who did her best to try and help everyone who was waiting for over an hour for their food, including regularly checking with the pizza makers and telling them the names of those of us still waiting. Meanwhile, anyone with a DoorDash order was put ahead of all other orders.

When we asked for the manager to see if she can get the situation under control, she just kept walking past us from the bathroom all the way to hide in her office, completely ignoring the customers and problems.

As someone who is a manager of a large customer service team, I found the manager of this store to be absolutely disrespectful to the customers by ignoring us, and negligent of her job. She didn’t make a single attempt to help anyone - not the customers, not even her team members. Not to mention she was at the store in her pajamas and slippers.

My order didn’t even get started being made until after 7:30, so I wasn’t even out of there until about 8pm. When I finally got home to sit down and eat my pizza, it was cooked so poorly that the crust was tough and difficult to chew. Until today, I had never had a Pizza Hut pizza I didn’t like.
