Rise Up Coffee — Restaurant in Salisbury

ETA: today I was approached by the assistant manager about my review…. She assured me that they heard my review and made it right. They informed me of a new training thing they implemented. I told her that the last 5 or so times the coffee has been PERFECT! She apologized for the previous mess ups and even gave me 4 free coffee poker chips! This is the best customer service I could’ve asked for. If you want a GREAT cup of coffee I recommend 10/10!!!

I absolutely love Rise Up coffee above all else…. When it’s made right. I’m having more and more issues with the drinks not being made correctly or consistently. I paid almost $7 for my coffee, asked for 2 x shots of espresso…. Well this isn’t the first time that I can tell there were no extra shots. I spend a lot of money here and I’m disappointed that their quality control isn’t better. Half the time there’s little to no foam in my coffee. Which is one of my fave parts of a latte. I’m not one to want to go back and complain. So I don’t. And I just drink my expensive coffee even when it’s made wrong. Idk what to do here. I’m not gonna complain cuz I hate being that person but someone needs to be held accountable for who’s making these drinks. If it’s a new employee than someone needs to be watching and making sure they are sending out quality. When people are paying upwards of $6-$8 for a cup of coffee, it needs to be made right. I understand an occasional mess up, but I go to rise up anywhere from several times a week to several times a month. The drink always tastes different and it’s not got foam or the extra espresso too often for the price. Please do better rise up. If it keeps being bad like this I’m just gonna have to go someplace else. It’s worth the money when you get what you pay for, not when you don’t. At all. This review has been a long time coming. I’ve always wanted to give y’all an awesome review, but I can’t do that until y’all get back to awesome coffee at least 80%...

Shoutout to my barista Mackenzie! If I could give her SIX stars, I would personally climb a ladder to the sky, pluck one down, and add it here. Walking into Rise Up and being greeted by Mackenzie isn’t just getting coffee — it’s a full-blown life event.

Some baristas hand you a cup. Mackenzie hands you an experience. She remembers your order like she’s got a PhD in “How You Like Your Coffee.” The latte art? Museum-quality. The vibes? Immaculate. I swear the caffeine hits different when Mackenzie makes it — like it’s infused with sunshine, good energy, and just a sprinkle of pure magic.

Rise Up should honestly rename itself Rise Up Because Mackenzie Said So. This isn’t customer service — it’s customer revival. I walked in tired, grumpy, and questioning my life choices. I walked out ready to run a marathon, call my grandma, and write a novel.

Me and a friend were in town for a 5 day Baseball Tournament. We wanted to try something new for our Am Coffee Run, so we went to this Salisbury location. Now although this location is small, do not let it's size fool you. They're quick, efficient, and above all, they have amazing customer service. This location is perfect for On-the-Go. There is no dine-in area, but here is a drive thru option and the line moves pretty quick. We went inside to order and check out the scenery. This place had such cool decor to it, great vibe and a great staff. Our coffee was sooo good and the fact that you can see them make everything right in front of you, was a nice bonus! We also tried a few of the pastries they had available that day and they didn't disappoint. If I'm ever in Maryland area again, I will definitely be revisiting...
