The Mill of Salisbury — Local services in Salisbury

I’ve been getting feed here for years. The recent changeover to the Mill was great at first. But the last few weeks whenever I order feed, the people at the register are asking me a million questions in regards to SKU #’s, and then they get confused on what feed I’m exactly getting. I get a very basic brand of chicken feed (Nutrena all flock pellets) and even provide the weight of the bags along with the specific name and type I get. I even pulled up pictures from google. I don’t know SKU #’s. I just know you guys carry it? It’s disheartening because I used to feel very welcome and a friendly vibe in the store, but I don’t get that anymore. I spend hundreds of dollars a month in feed here. I know there’s a learning curve to people learning a job, but as a customer, I’m not looking to answer a million questions about a basic chicken feed. This is something people working the front counter should have a general knowledge of. The experience and friendliness I used to get when I walk in has completely disappeared as the previous experienced employees “left”. There is just a lack of knowledge with the people working up front now. I almost get uncomfortable going into the store now because I know it’ll be a pain in the butt just ordering a few bags of the...

I go here now to get my pet groomed and Ms. Heather does an excellent job on my pet. My dog Is a bit of a challenge when it comes to grooming, but he is doing a lot better. He seems to like going here too. I'm highly satisfied. He likes to have barking matches with the other dogs in the kennel too. Also, the store staff just adores him. I must admit though I was a bit skeptical at the start especially when I heard the name of the place. I was concerned at first but they have put my mind at ease. I can also shop in the store for pet goodies which is always fun. We are even allowed to stay with our pets if we choose too but I trust them enough that he is in good hands. The pay is good too. I highly recommend getting your pet groomed here. The only con I have is the grooming space is pretty small/standard, but if it works for just two groomers and it gets the job done...

Milo absolutely loved his experience with Ms. Wanda and her team! I was nervous about taking him since he does not like car rides AT ALL!!! He cried on the ride over AND was shivering non-stop upon arrival. Ms. Wanda and her team made him feel so at home and relaxed. He smelled sooo good and he had an amazing facial! He was cleaned, cut and so well groomed, even had on some cologne! I've already asked when should I bring him back! They were very friendly, professional and I knew he was in good hands!
