Maggiano's Little Italy — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

I ordered from the kiosk just now the parmesan chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. Once I received it I checked my bag as usual to discover it didn't match the picture on the menu. The bread was suppose to be a roll however I received sourdough sandwich bread toasted with butter. I requested a refund and was told that "we don't give refund ls from the kiosk." I thought that was stupid and it should have been posted. I also noticed the fries where really greasy and twice fried so I requested new ones. The guy in the front got an attitude and rolled his eyes as he walked away. The shouted out, "I NEED FRESH FRIES! then I heard the kitchen say, "what do u mean fresh fries?" Then he said, "fresher fries then whispered under breath something smart." The meat on the sandwich didn't look fresh either the whole thing was leased than quality coming from someone who use to work in the food industry. And his attitude was written all over his face. I tried to eat it but my stomach said no! So I trashed it and I was hungry bc I hadn't ate all morning. The food was quite tasty. I’d like to try the main restaurant some day. My drink (Moscato Mojito) was horrible though. I don’t know what they put in it but it tasted like an energy drink gone bad or like they used old, moldy fruit (I suspect one of these because it also took ages to come out. Perhaps they were out of ingredients and improvised?). Service was ok. They were quite kind and friendly when conversing but spoke loudly to each other in really unprofessional ways. I knew just a few bites in that I had to stop and take a photo of the lasagna, so I could leave a review. It was delicious! It’s hard, in my experience, to find well seasoned pasta dishes at restaurants. There’s often too much reliance on cheese. This lasagna had great taste throughout- the sauce, the meat, and the pasta were all done so well. It was a huge portion that I couldn’t finish and I’m a big guy. I’m coming back for seconds the next time I’m in SLC. The garlic broccoli on the other hand is a miss - barely warmed, hard, and not much flavor. The service was...
