Minute Suites SLC — Hotel in Salt Lake City

This place helped me out so much during October travel. I had done my research months ago as a mother that travels often to see a kid that is sick and in and out of the hospital. I often don’t sleep well. I used the room for sleep. But it was set up for work, and just hanging out in a private space. I would say that the room leans more towards work or watching a video and privacy. But I needed sleep. As a woman traveling alone, the door had a lock. I felt safe and I could relax and sleep. In the future, I will be using the room for conducting video psychotherapy private therapy sessions while traveling. I’m also considering the room for my curriculum development as I teach part time also for a local community college in California. I was using my Priority Pass and was only planning to stay for an hour, but even with my short and “free” stay the gentleman at the front desk was so kind and treated me like a valued customer. He showed me how everything worked, offered me a blanket and pillow and even offered to put me in a back room if I was planning to sleep. So thoughtful and considerate. I dropped my things and went to use the restroom and grab food and came back and decided to purchase an additional two hour stay, simply because of the outstanding service. This is such a fantastic idea. The airport is a stressful and overstimulating place to be. My partner and I dropped in for a respite in the middle of a long layover.

I know some people are concerned about cleanliness since some visitors might be doing disgusting things like eating watermelon or vegan ham. We had no issues - it seems like the staff clean up after every visitor and our place was spic and span.

We did have some weird reservation issues, though. We tried to talk up and they were full. So we booked online and got in right away. No idea...
