McDonald's — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

It seems as if McDonald's is going downhill. The reason I State this is because I am legally blind and I use a power wheelchair. McDonald's is Kings are ordering system to the point that instead of talking to a real employee to order your meal you're expected to use a kiosk in the restaurant. This is very difficult when you're in a wheelchair and cannot reach his high but yet are legally blind so it's hard to see and use the unit. McDonald's needs to change the way people with disabilities can order. If an employee has to help me take my order on the kiosk then why don't they just take my order at the place what are the registers are located? Why would they waste the space at a kiosk while they're helping me where they could help me at the counter take my order and allow that space to be open for other people who would rather use the kiosk? McDonald's is just another one of those big bastard corporations that only cares about profits and not people. what do I mean about that? I mean the fact that they would rather have a machine where you have to work to take your own order where if we are trying to make sure that people are employed we need to make sure we don't cut jobs out just so that a very slim few at the top of the totem pole will actually make a good paycheck while everyone else at the bottom has to work 10 times harder and has the struggle Tim times more just to do what anyone else is able to do at ease. The CEOs of these corporations do not really care about the little guy at the bottom. This is the reason why I wish that more local businesses we're around because that would mean that the same restaurant or store in Salt Lake City Utah will not be the same in for example, San Diego California. When you go to McDonald's in the Salt Lake City Utah why would I want to go to a McDonald's in San Diego California? If I could buy the same thing in Salt Lake City Utah then there is no reason for me to travel to a new city, if I have something different in two different cities then it's worth it to me to visit...

I take my break at work every day at 10:15 I often swing by this location to get a few breakfast items. I made a mobile order as usual, the order is processed and I go to pick up. They confirm my order through the drive through speaker and I wait in line (for quite awhile I may add) which would be fine, except when I reached the window they tell me breakfast is over and I can't have my order.

First off, it was barely 10:30am, what McDonald's location ends breakfast at 10:30 am on a Friday? I'm under the impression that the employees were either being lazy or negligent because as I said, this is fairly routine and I have never had my order rejected at the same time other days. Not to mention, the order was placed before 10:30 even if that's when breakfast did end. This upset me extremely because I had very limited time (being on lunch break) and didn't have time to wait for another order so I had to go without due to their decision.

I'm an easy going guy, but the fact is this didn't have to happen at all. The mobile order could've rejected me before I drove over there, the employee could've told me at the speaker instead of making me wait in line for 10+ minutes (valuable time lost during a lunch break), or you know they could have just fulfilled my order that I had made during proper business hours instead of wasting my time.

I hate to complain and I very rarely leave reviews but this whole incident is ridiculous, to the point where I will not be returning, seeing how the employees clearly can't do their job or communicate...
