We love Papa Murphys pizza, but hate this store. We ordered our pizza online and they said it would be ready in a half hour. We arrived there and when we got up to the drive in window, they said they didnt have our pizza ready and that we need to wait another 15 minutes. When we told them that our pizza was supposed to be ready, they said that they had a ton of customers in the store that they had to help. Why are they working on the orders from the in store customers, when we had our order put in nearly an hour before all those people? Then they told us to pull forward out of the drive in so they could talk to the next car in line. There was literally no places to park in the parking lot so we told them we'd sit there in our car until at the drive in until they gave us our pizza. The employees don't know how to manage their workload or they a need to hire more people (or both). We want to come back but they need to make serious changes. This isn't the first time we've made an online order and it wasn't ready when we came to pick it up on time. Only bright spot: Shout out to James for the free cheesy bread for the hassle...
Read moreSuggesting a more customer-friendly tipping process, it would be great if tips were requested post-cooking and enjoying our pizza. A convenient solution could involve providing an option to input our email or phone number for the receipt and allowing us to add a tip within the subsequent email or text. The current trend of requesting tips before the pizza is even prepared has become a bit overwhelming, especially when the final product is unknown.
For transparency, I recently paid over $20 for a pizza that I hadn't seen yet, and this experience has made me reconsider tipping practices. I appreciate tipping in certain contexts, like DoorDash/Uber Eats or when served by a waiter at a restaurant. However, for pizza prepping scenarios, I'd prefer the option to evaluate the service quality before deciding on a tip.
Sending a review and tip request a few hours after the purchase, once the pizza has been cooked and enjoyed, would be more conducive to a positive tipping experience. Otherwise, this approach may lead to a reluctance to tip...
Read moreI like their pizza but this store was so unorganized. I ordered my pizza online at 3:00 pm for pick up at 5:30. I sent my daughter in to pick up the pizza and she was in there for over 20 minutes waiting for the pizza. I call the location and all they said was they were sorry but they were really busy and if they made my pizza they gave it away for those who walked in. When you order online to pickup and give them over 2 hours to have it ready then it should be ready. You offer a service then you need to honor that services. They gave no discount or an offer of a pizza for another time. Nothing. I will let people know do not order online because they may not have it and will give it away if they do AND you will still have wait. Just so frustrating when you do as they ask and use a service they provide and you are duped and wait longer than walk-ins. If you cant hold up your end of the service then stop offering it. I was late to my scheduled event because of this. Not a...
