Paréa is the kind of neighborhood gem that instantly welcomes you the moment you walk in. Specializing in gyros, fresh salads, and a market full of grab-and-go delights, this place exudes charm and care—with every detail clearly crafted with love. The experience started strong with a warm greeting and a flavorful hummus sample, setting the tone right away. The tall fridges lining the wall caught my eye—stacked with grab-and-go, homemade tzatziki, hummus, feta dressing, full meals like pastitsio (a layered Greek casserole), spanakopita (a flaky spinach and feta phyllo pie), and even desserts. It felt like stepping into a little Greek market-meets-bistro. To the right, a groovy dry erase menu on the wall highlights their specialties—make sure to try the Greek almond cookies or the chocolate pot de crème. But the main event? Gyro land. So many tempting options, from quick bites to full plates. I went all-in with the lamb gyro plate. The lamb was flavorful and tender, and the tzatziki? Classic, creamy, and exactly how it should taste. The crispy potato wedges were honestly the star—so good, I’d come back just for those and a side of sauce. My friend ordered the Paréa Bowl with grilled chicken, herb purée, and lemon oregano vinaigrette—it smelled amazing and looked fresh and satisfying, perfect for a midday meal. We sat by the open patio doors, with a breeze from 900 Street adding to the relaxed vibe. It was one of those rare lunches where the food hits, the space feels right, and the conversation flows. A self-serve filtered water station made things easy, and I grabbed a tropical sparkling water to sip on. The décor is fun—think tie-dye napkins, festive details (yes, my gyro came topped with a tiny disco ball toothpick), and a warm, open layout. It feels like a Greek grandma runs the kitchen and your favorite neighborhood crew runs the floor. Despite ordering at the counter, staff checked on us multiple times, and I’m pretty sure the chef even came out to say hello. The little in-store market is packed with authentic Greek goodies I can’t wait to explore next time—especially when I need something quick but still homemade. Parking isn’t the easiest, but trust me: once you’re inside, it’s all worth it. A local spot with heart, soul, and flavor—Paréa is a vibe I’m absolutely coming back for.

I had been looking forward to the Manoli's fast casual love child, Parea, to live up to the flavors Manoli's delights with. Sad to say I was disappointed. I would not recommend this place to someone I cared about having a delicious meal. Which is so sad because Manoli's is one of my top 5 places in SLC for dinner! The interior is the best part of the experience, unfortunately. I will say I didnt make my way to the take away fridge, but did opt for a gyro plate. The chicken was dry, but had flavor! nonetheless, it was extremely underwhelming. I did enjoy the side salad that came with it - I always love a dill feature. A small 1 oz cup of tzatziki was $1.50 and necessary for the overcooked chicken in the gyro. It came with maybe four potato wedges that were obviously thrown into the fryer for a second time after they must have been sitting around for too long. I'd love to give Parea another chance in the future, but for the price point, I've had less dry, more flavorful gyros at Apollo Burger for a fraction of the price.

First time trying this place! The employees were so nice. I was ordering and my 2 year old was upset because she was hungry and they gave her a little piece of olive oil cake to cheer her up. I ordered a gyro with beef and lamb meat. The gyro was big and filling. It was very good. I ordered a side of their crispy potato wedges for my daughter which she loved. They were indeed crispy and so delicious. They had a really good seasoning on them that made them so good. They gave us some ketchup to dip them in but it was seasoned so nice that you didn’t need to dip them in anything. My gyro also had a few potato wedges in it which j loved. My dad was also with us and he ordered a salad. The salad was big and filling as well. It also came with a big pita on the side. The atmosphere of this place was fun. They have fridges of all their products you can buy to go.

If I could give Parea ten stars, I would! From the moment you step inside, the smells and bright space transport you to Greece—but you're still just right here in Salt Lake City. The space is absolutely stunning, with warm, inviting decor that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile while you chomp down your gyro or salad.

Now, let’s talk about the food—because WOW. If you love Manolis and want to take every dish home with you this is where you do it. Their selection of foods to take home is next level, we always have something from Parea in our fridge.

The gyros and gyro salad ... Well every bite was pure magic! The flavors are fresh, vibrant, and transportive.

The service? Flawless. The team at Parea makes you feel like family, offering fantastic recommendations and are always so kind.

If you love Manoli’s, you’ll be obsessed with Parea. And if you haven’t been yet—what are you waiting for? Go, eat, and prepare...
