I would not recommend this business for resizing rings. My wife and I brought her engagement ring and wedding band here to be resized before our wedding. Right off the bat, the man helping us seemed distracted and like he wasn't very invested in us. We voiced concerns about the ring being sized too small, but he kept insisting the size he suggested would be best, so we decided to trust his "professional" opinion. When we went to pick up the rings, the rings were so small my wife could barely get them on her finger, and the woman helping us quickly agreed the rings were way too small. They sized the rings up, and when we went to pick them up again, our experience was even worse. The rings were stretched thin to account for their mistake, looked warped, and overall butchered. The main stone was loose and rattling so we had to have them fix that as well, which they had an attitude about doing. The wedding band was slightly smaller than the engagement ring. On top of that, the rings were filthy and not cleaned with our wedding a few days away, but at this point, we were so untrustworthy of this business that we left with the rings as is. We are both devastated over the state her rings are now in. They are so thin and warped, that they have absolutely destroyed the integrity of the rings and we would be very apprehensive about having to resize them in the future if it became necessary. Our regular jeweler at 9th & 9th Jewelers was closed at the time due to renovations, but I highly recommend people go there instead of this place. You'll be treated like a human and your rings will be treated with respect. Stay away from this business unless you want to pay to have your precious...
Read moreThe rings are nice but unfortunately the owner, Brent, ghosted us when it came to following through with post-purchase promises. Don’t trust that he will send you the “free” appraisal later—make sure to get it while you are in the store. My husband and I bought my engagement ring and his wedding band here, but then we moved out of state. Brent repeatedly told both me and my husband (both in writing and verbally) that he would send us the appraisals for our ring insurance, but he never did. After telling us he would send it “later today” or “tomorrow” somewhere around 5-10 times, he has since ghosted us. Hannah (a lovely staff member) tried to help and asked Brent to send them many times (and he always promised he would) but it has now been a year and a half and still no appraisals. Brent is no longer responding to emails or texts, so our ring insurance is now being affected. Be aware that he is only responsive while you are actively buying and may ghost you afterward. Sadly, even though our experiences in-store were good, don’t trust that he will follow through with promises after. It took months for him to tell my husband where we could get the promised free ring cleanings, and we never got the...
Read moreSimilar to the other two star reviews, I had a good initial first experience designing the ring with the counter ladies, but then terrible communication from the main jeweler/owner, Brent. Most egregiously, the ring (a resetting of a family heirloom) was done poorly.
Lots of promising to follow-up without doing so, and then after receiving and paying for the ring months after the initial quoted time to finish, I was ghosted completely on the appraisal.
I asked for the appraisal several times (both in person and over texting - don’t give your number to clients if you don’t intend to respond?), since I was told that would be included with the reset of the ring.
Brought it to another reputable jeweler for a second opinion, and they not only offered a free appraisal, but gave feedback that the craftsmanship was sloppy.
Planning to get the ring re-done elsewhere since Timeless didn’t make the effort to follow up after I sent a long email outlining my concerns.
Several reviewers have reported similar ghosting experiences around the same time, so maybe the owner had something personal going on…but after weeks with no response, I have to assume he simply stopped caring.
Disappointed to...
