Went with my two children, and it took twenty minutes sitting there with menus before someone came out to give us chips and bean dip. They asked no questions. We waited another twenty minutes before a different person came out, asked what we wanted to drink, and apologized because he was late to work. Like we had to wait for this gentleman to show up for someone to help us? Makes no sense.
We ordered our food and drink at that time. A third person brought out food for us, which is when we asked for napkins. Little while later, our waiter came out and asked how we everything tasted. Food was great. Another twenty minutes went by.
Who seemed to be the owner showed up, asked how we were doing and if we wanted mor chips and bean dip. We said we would like to order some more tacos. Then ANOTHER twenty minutes goes by, and our waiter came out with the check! Even my 11 year old said aren't they supposed to ask if you're done before bringing the check. Wanted to have my kids enjoy some Mexican food on Cinco de mayo, but the low quality service certainly makes it tough to ever want to go back. The check showed that we were charged as much for pico and sour cream for my daughter's taco, as the steak taco itself. Not a problem, but on the menu it does not mention any surcharges for these items. Transparency is good service. Hidden charges never sit well.
The table next to us got multiple drinks, chips, and checked on multiple times by their waiter while ours was no where. The restaurant was slow, and a lot of workers were inside doing prep work, we were our waiters only table.
Just wished it was better because my family and I live so close. Maybe just order it to go and you won't be...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst. Most disgusting pass off as a Mexican restaurant, because this is not a Mexican restaurant. If it is horrible, the staff is incompetent. I didn’t get what I ordered. The food is Taste less And I don’t know how to spell. I’m just using Google voice. It’s a lot easier. No seasoning, no authenticity. And married to him, Mexican. I’m Puerto Rican. If I wanted to mail like that. I would’ve gone to an American owned. Caucasian American owned restaurant With a chef that had never cooked Spanish food before. That’s how extremely disappointed I am. I don’t even think that they belong here. Saluda offers incredible dining atmosphere, and people and I went into the restaurant. Last night was only greeted with wild stares Then my order wasn’t even what I ordered. I believe they just gave me what they wanted me to have. Didn’t get my drink at all. For the price. It was extremely disappointing. Whoever their chef is, or whoever handles their recipes needs to go back to...
Read moreCouldn’t wait to try this restaurant that recently opened in Saluda. Apparently, they don’t want my business or any take out business. I called 4 times to place a take out order on a Sunday afternoon. The first call, I asked if I could place a take out order, click went the sound on the other end. The second time, I thought maybe they couldn’t hear me so I moved to another room to place the call. Can I place a take out order? Click, went the sound on the other end. The third time, I was like Hello? Hello? Can I place a takeout order? Click Lastly, I had my BF call. I thought maybe. Just maybe they couldn’t hear me. Nope 👎. He got the same treatment. Not giving them my business. So very sad for...
