Why does Waky Monkey deserve 5 stars?

1. Cleanliness: The outside and inside of the restaurant were immaculate. I heard the staff discussing/performing cleaning when the patron count was low, indicating that cleaning was an important part of their process.
2. Food Quality: The food was excellent. We ordered an egg sandwich, frittata, smoothie, muffin, chicken salad croissant, and cheesecake. It was all quite good; good flavor while not greasy or salty.
3. Wait Time: When we entered, there were about ten patrons already in the establishment with three orders in line ahead of us. Still we were able to order within three minutes, allowing us plenty of time to review the menu. More importantly, when we entered the restaurant a member of the staff made a concerted effort to get a menu in our hands in under a minute. Well Done!
4. Staff: A continuation of the previous item ... The staff was knowledgable and friendly. They actively communicated; even looking for opportunities to interact with our young children.
5. Going above and beyond: When we accidentally dropped our nearly untouched muffin, the manager/owner replaced it. This wasn't a case of me approaching the manager and asking for a replacement (I'm not afraid of picking up and eating dropped food, especially considering how clean the floor was). The manager/owner saw what had happened and energetically communicated and brought a replacement muffin to our table. Bravo!

We will definitely be returning to Waky Monkey when we are...

5★ This was a very very great experience.. Look at the review before me he said the same thing I would say.. = 5★ Five stars says it all... As soon as we walked in we were greeted the guy behind the counter.. He was extremely helpful and filled Us in on everything that was there cuz we had never been there before... But we will definitely be back.. We ordered the muffaletta and the frittata... The food is fabulous - see pics, the price is wonderful - see pic of the receipt, the atmosphere is excellent the place is clean, see pics ...The crew is top-notch... And then on a final - We decided to go ahead and get a cinnamon roll.. OMG FOLKS.... ... YUMMIE - Please try the cinnamon roll with the cream sauce on top... it is unbelievably fabulously yummy... I thought cinnabon was good .. ahhh all I might say is - cinnabon can learn a lot from these people.... Thank you Wakey Monkey and it's Crew.... We were very very pleased... Highly Recommend... . Was going to give this place 3 stars with input from my wife, but I just can't. I had the pot pie croissant which was a great idea, but the execution was bad. The pot pie portion had several cold spots in it and the croissant tasted under baked. It may have been "gummy" from all the liquid in the pot pie filling, but it seemed more like undercooked to me. Also, the filling had no seasoning to it, so I went to the counter where I noticed packets of what I thought was salt & pepper. Turns out they were just various blends of sugar. I watched another patron go searching there too, probably for the same thing, but they also walked back to their table empty handed. My wife had the tuna or chicken salad on croissant and she enjoyed it. Service was pretty quick, probably because they didn't take the time to thoroughly heat up my meal. I don't think I'll go back. I'll hit the Purple Onion instead. It was good last...
