Campus Donuts & Kolaches — Restaurant in San Angelo

Service was horrible ! Open sign was on at 5am so I drive up and order a dozen donuts! Well the lady at the window told me she hadn’t had time to make donuts because she has to make kolaches first and said come back in an hour or so. Well I did go back 2 hours later and order my dozen again I also had a coupon that says buy a donez get a dozen free with the purchase of 2 drinks so i tell the lady hey I’m I have a coupon I’d like to use it! She said sorry I don’t have a dozen glaze to give you. I said I didn’t order glaze she said your free one has to be glaze and I don’t have enough . I said the coupon doesn’t say it has to be glazed. She said sorry it has to be glazed and did not honor my coupon. I did mention to her how I was there at 5am and was told there was no donuts at that time to come back and now there’s Not enough! They had just stood there looking at me with no comment. Customer service ...

As i entered the shop, i immediately noticed a wasp flying around inside the donut cabinet. As i could not venture to another shop, i attempted to choose donuts from shelves that i did not see the wasp flying around. It was almost afternoon when i went to the shop, but most of the donuts with frosting on them were all melting. This should not happen. My grandfather owned a donut shop when i was growing up, and i never saw this happen on any of the donuts. I would not recommend this shop unless you want liquid and wasps on...

The ladies were super nice, but boy they think those donuts are award winning. I got 1 donut, 1 kolache and a canned soda for almost $12. The donut tasted like old grease and it was so dry. It should at least taste good if it’s gonna be a $4 donut. I definitely won’t be returning, I would’ve paid less than $5 at my normal spot, which is much better. San Angelo, there are way better donuts in town...
